I think it's kinda funny that there's any comparison between a broadway show and high school show. There are two basic reasons why a high school production can't compare to broadway: 1. The talent pool for a broadway musical is infinitely larger than that of a high schools and majority of the people in the broadway "pool" have been refining their trade for much longer than any high school student. Not saying they suck. I'm saying they're kids that can't touch Broadway caliber talent. Many high school PRODUCTIONS are near professional... the acting/talent? Usually not. And even if they have all the talent in the world- they still come off as kids playing adult roles most the time.
