Thank you for this explanation. I have been a cradle Christian but new to the Catholic faith, and, though this is what I thought Intentions were for, I wanted to find an explanation to make sure.

One of the joys of Catholicism is the understanding that Jesus gave us His mother to be our mother. We know she loves us as she loves her Son, and that she will take our needs, joys, and sorrows to Him, to be lifted to God the Father. Comfort and blessing beyond measure.
