Lol. Just checked my text messages from November last year and the owner's name at the time was Gary. It had maybe 12000 miles on it at the time. I have pictures. Same mods and everything. Same interior. Bad ass unit bro! I'm glad someone got it because it's put together quite well. Cool to see a car I was interested in on KZbin. I changed my mind because of the warped carpet on both sides but you can obviously get that repaired :)

@@lifeonmars03 oh shit yea that’s the same car! I have a bought it from a different guy but I know Gary was the owner before the guy I bought it from. Small world! Do you remember how much it was listed for?
@lifeonmars0320 күн бұрын
@peakerpolo10 nice!!! & maybe 49k-53k. I can't really remember. It was def a great price considering the grocery list of mods and mileage. Gary was saying how he wanted to sell it to get a newer vette...so it was priced to move forsure. Hopefully you didn't pay much more than that bro. I know the market is unpredictable sometimes. Congrats again!!

How would you compare it to the E46 M3?
@peakerpolo1022 күн бұрын
The chassis in the M3 felt so comfortable to me. I was very used to it compared to the C6, which I’m still getting used to. They both feel extremely agile in corners but the Z06 has enough power to where I only feel confident in giving it more than 50% gas when it’s perfectly straight. The M3 I could pretty much floor it halfway through the corner and have no issues. This Z06 feels a lot more potent which is no surprise, it makes about twice the power and weighs a little less. I still need to get my brain up to speed in order to really muscle the Z06 around

@rhynoaha Жыл бұрын
I just teaded in my 2010 Gen 1 with the 6.2 V8 and had the sunroof fully decked out. Only had 49k miles on it. I got 25k for the trade in and am almost positive I made a mistake letting it go for that price.
@spearo5103 Жыл бұрын
could've been a mistake. Selling private you might've made close to $30k. Always go private unless you need the money asap. 2010 is harder to sell cause its first year but you had the 6.2 so $30k sounds right to me
@raywalteroutdoors Жыл бұрын
Dealer now runs the risk of it sitting on their lot while the market shifts. $25k for no effort or risk can be a victory. I would have given you $27k 😂
@DavidBnks028 ай бұрын
@@spearo5103 agreed I think 25k isn't bad. It may have been worth much more if totally stock. They're getting hard to find in good condition and lower miles it could have appreciated over the next few years. I have a 2010 with the 5.4 ( I wanted easy to find motors/parts) and I gave 18,500 for it in 2020 with 143k. So I still think he did well even compared to that.
