Close your eyes, now imagine you are 17 years old, male, the day, Aug. 4th, 1967, it's Saturday night. That's some heavy schitt man.

Very catchy song... better than the live audio version here (possibly just the recording equipment used), but both lead & especially backing vocals are weak. Still a thumbs up! Looking for studio version to tell.

That's quality shoegaze, the album sounds great too. Thanks to a random playlist on Spotify.

Excellent guitar player, I had the good fortune to see supporting Michael Schenker several years back. I understand his professional career is focused on teaching, hopefully he's planting the seeds for the next shredding revolution!

What do you feel in there Drifting so near The depth, dimension of your sea So small, so warm and so true I’ll dream of you Soon you’ll dive deeper My oceanographer Do you know I’m here Drifting so near Do you long for a wider bay Or are you content to simply stay Don’t be afraid Soon you’ll dive deeper My oceanographer Soon you’ll dive deeper My oceanographer And I’ll swim with you

I'm not a huge fan of his 7 string stuff. He's legendary on the 6 string. Check out some of his older stuff. If you play guitar it will be time well spent.
@myworstenemy68010 жыл бұрын
If you ever sat down and listened to Doug play a 6 string, he would blow your mind. He's the real deal. A fantastic musician and a friendly outgoing guy. I was lucky enough to have him as an instructor. You would be surprised at the number of very talented musicians who turned to Doug when their playing hit a rut. This video is a poor example of his talent.
