Nice video. I picked up a vintage A2000 XLC from ebay a few years back, slightly pancaked but overall in really nice shape. Date code ties it to 1992. The leather is so nice and it's a real pleasure to use.

@Samsquantch69128 күн бұрын
I recently scored an early 90's Louisville Slugger 125 Professional Series, made in Japan, on Marketplace for $30. It was virtually unused, with the beginnings of a terrible pancake break in. Relaced it and broke it in correctly. It's fully steerhide with a thin, soft, supple steerhide liner. I've been shopping A2K, A2000, Heart of Hide and Pro Preferred, and this thing gives up nothing to modern top of the line. I honestly can't find anything new that tempts me away from it. I bought it as a backup glove, but it's the only glove I've used since getting it.

@@leoschult758 no worries! I personally haven’t used an A2K, so I can’t really comment on that glove. This Yabai can be used on the mound or in the field. I would say it makes a phenomenal utility glove. I also like one-piece webs a lot. Both are great choices!

Come on man….C2 is their low end line….it’s like reviewing a Wilson A1000 instead of an A2000 and harping on Wilson. Can’t expect much in that scenario. Get a typical 44, signature series or EX-10 Kip leather glove and review it.

so I bought my grandson the canadian tradition version glove , as that's what he picked .The wrist running bird symbol is made of silicon .I think the silicon will break down quit easy and gives it a cheap look .is there other mizuno gloves with the silicon symbols on them that you know of ,and I wonder how they have lasted over time ?

@@donmacdonald7292 I'm not quite sure. I have used the Prime Elite which has the same silicon runbird logo and it has held up well over the course of the last 6 months.

I have a 44 C2 and it isn't really great. It's heavy and took forever to break in compared to my Easton Professional Collection Hybrid that I switched to. I got my 44 for such a good price that I can't say its AWFUL, but if I had to do it again I eould either get the kip leather version for a few bucks more, or pick up another Rawlings GG Elite or similar glove. 44s are good for customizing but for a similar price you can get a better glove IMO.

Absolutely, I 100% agree. I would love to pick up one of the signature models and see how it compares! Definitely will be a future video!

@@Hi5boii mine was the normal stiffness but, again, it just hasn't been a great glove IMO. It took a long time to break in but I've found that the laces are really what makes the glove stiff. Once I loosened the fingers it's much more malleable now. Still, the thing weighs a metric ton compared to every other glove I own. I didn't really notice it until I started using other gloves.
