Sadly, Jake grew up to be just another life ring floating on the BEaring Sea that is humanity. Junkie, outlaw, convict..THAT is how he honors his father's memory. BUT, that IS the fishery, drunks, druggies, wastrels.. I wouldn't ge tin a fucking CANOE with any of these peoples..."Oh look, I didn't do annual maintenance and now I am in an Artic hurricane without power...Seriously, they ought to shut down the whole mess. After all, the crab fishery just produces for the uber-wealthy. Was in my store in Montana yesterday, a 1/2 pound doengeness crab was $29...fuck all this crap WHo cares...stupid crab-fishing drones out there risking their lives so some NYC cunt-boy can have some crab meat for $150 a pound in a restaurant.

He knew it that season he just didn’t have it he was always tired looking, didn’t have the same energy as he always did and in he’s eyes you could see he was in constant pain. And yet he continued he wanted to spend as much time with josh and jake that he could and plus he had the whole crews families he had to worry about. Going over those photos I think he was preparing for it to happen and even after it did he didn’t quit. He’s body gave out before he’s will did just goes to show you he was tuff as nails but a really great person. I’m glad josh bought the Cornelia Phil would be so proud

I think in some ways Phil knew he was dying, after that blood clot went from his legs to his lungs. Its sad, so sad, He is dearly missed. Loved to watch him on the show. RIP Phil. I hope your in heaven and not in hell.
