The people weren’t workers, they were enslaved people who toiled long hours in the hot humidity of Louisiana weather under harsh penal conditions. What is rich to you about enslaved people? Whose heritage are you speaking of? The plantation owner? The overseers? The enslaved men and women and children?
@cajunking59873 жыл бұрын

Ok he said on the plantation was slaves and workers. Who are these workers, besides those who were slave overseers
@angelawatt68553 жыл бұрын
I can't stand the tone of this video!!! It isn't speaking the truth about the enslaved and the atrocities my ancestors faced while being held captive on that planation. They couldn't leave, they were murdered, beaten, raped, and separated from their families. This is why it's important for US to tell our own stories.

Democracy has been a struggle. I am sorry for all who have suffered and thankful for those who sacrificed for freedom. Unfortunately slavery still exists. Also the caste system in India is awful.
@grimey11423 жыл бұрын
the caste system is the real reason there were so called colinist. The worst of the worst were forced out of England(the colonist). So with them as the founders of this nation why are you shocked by our nations history of violence

Best to believe it’s bodies buried out there on that plantation

I live close and pass through there every day, in the middle of one of the feilds there's a patch of woods there for no reason, some people said they left it alone cause of quicksand, I never seen or heard about quicksand over here in my life, tbh i think that's where they buried them. Don't take this as a fact it's just what I think

I can imagine the spirits of all the slaves that have been murdered back there. Not to mention all the curves and confederate flags that's being displayed in majority of the people's back yards. It's been about 3 years since I've drove through there. At night time it would be scary to pass through there period.
