I did a stage 2 on my 2017 road glide and I tell you I wasn't expecting some of the chagings I received. My bike is no longer smooth riding. It's no longer quiet. It typically wants to stall in first gear. The cam that I installed is a S&S 465 Cam. It doesn't care what gear your in, my bike wants to go. I had 77hp and now I have 100hp. In 5th and 6th gear, riding at 72mph, when I give my bike more throttle, it goes with more torque at those speeds.

With only 13k but 12 years on the bike I would check wheel bearings and the steering stem bearings. Also check the manufacture date on the tires. If they are the original ones the get fresh tires. The motor mounts are rubber too and could dry rot to pay attention if the engine bounces around too much.

I find the Goldwing almost too automotive...you almost lose the feeling of being on a motorcycle...side opening saddlebags suck, all your gear falls out every time you open them. Air cleaner change is a nightmare...you have to take half the bike apart to change it. The Honda sound system pales in comparison to the HD sound system. I've owned both of the bikes in your review.

We put lots of layers of clothes on our bodies plus natural insulation (yay, being fat is a bonus in winter!) and only thin-ish gloves on our hands. Also, hands are out on the handlebars in the chilly wind. I must look into heated grips sometimes.

That's a solid repair job, minus the tank emblems. That tank was a Friday tank :D Not a big job to move them. I used to use fishing line for removal, just get all the glue/tape residue off afterwards.

Seriously though I got some 65 lbs braided fishing line. That took the emblem off like a hot knife in butter. Then I watched some MST3K while I got the residue off all surfaces. I wonder if that line can have other uses? Think along the lines of The Sopranos. Man that show had some pictures hanging on walls. I bet this line could hold a few of them.

The pin striping might be getting a hint of blue from the sky on the tank as the pin stripe on the fairing is more in the shade. As for the tank badges, definitely off. The dealership should be able to strip those off and re-adhere in a couple of hours.

Haha! So far I have not seen any signs the glaucoma has caused vision loss yet. His first ER visit showed healthy retinal but that was before his glaucoma was diagnosed.

I have to wonder why he showed up like he did too. Yesterday our vet said he has to have glaucoma drops in both eyes now. The eye that was at 7 jumped to 28. So we will be seeing a veterinary ophthalmologist soon. 8 month kittens should not have glaucoma.😾 After losing our dog Jake to cancer I decided pet insurance is a good option because life throws curveballs.

We're so used to wide angle, that narrower looks odd. Back in the day A lot of cameras did that kind of narrow field of view, without any horizon lock or stabilization, because the image looked more natural to the eye.

Yep - horizon lock crops. It has to, to not have blank spaces of the frame when it rotates the footage. The Max Lens Mod certainly makes up for it, IMO.

Gotta love Horizon Lock! It's almost impossible for me to keep my helmet cam level, so HL to the rescue! Been using it for years :D It really shows how far you lean your bike when you're pulling into the Harley dealer, for instance - very cool!
