Where we spider rigging It's deeper water20 to 25 ft deep bout we are fishing only 10 to 12 ft down so we use bobber stop knot on our lines so we can target in on that depth When the knot is touching the top of the water we will be at 10 ft down or whatever we slide the knot to it works great for us.

I tried it the first time 2 weeks ago no depth finder two 12ft rods and ended up catching 16 in 2 hours just got lucky I guess lol

@TheScotts74 The depth I fish in the winter time varies due to the temperature of the water. It can be anywhere from 12 ft to 25 ft. As far as the bait I use, 95% of the time I use a 3/32 jig head with various colors of jig skirts made by Southern Pro. I usually tip my jigs with Berkley crappie nibbles.
