The point of having Dr. Octavia be a woman is to subvert your expectations, make you not *realize* she is Doctor Octopus for a second, to have *Peter's* guard lowered when she finally reveals she is Doctor Octopus.

I think some of them are mocking woke movies since this one has all the alleged hallmarks of being "woke" but is still good, which proves that the whole "ists and phobes" defense is just a polish-the-turd tactic to defend bad movies against criticism and that all people really want are good movies. And others are mocking people who don't like any movie at all purely because it contains "woke" elements. But... it's hard to discern parody and hyperbole from unironic statements in text lol.

You know one thing I really love about Liv’s tentacles? They’re practical! Think classic Otto. How the hell does that man sleep or sit down? Since his tentacles usually come out the back or sides, they would prohibit both either way. Olivia can retract hers and bring them out when she needs them! How cool is that??

Probably suspension, dangling by his spine. Crazy body mod people already do stuff like that with hooks jammed through their skin, and say it's very relaxing and peaceful once the initial pain wears off. I'd imagine spinal suspension would be much the same.

they were never meant to be permanent, they were suppose to be able to be put on and off but an accented basically wielded them to his spine, im guessing this doc oct didn't have the accident and so could experiment and improves the designs.
