Which other instruments do you have in mind? Depending on the instrument family and sound fonts or samples, panning may or may not be necessary except to balance the playback and add a realistic effect. (E.g. Synthesizers)

Generally, I would not pan the piano in an orchestral setting mainly because the piano sound comes with its own panning. If for whatever reason the piano is panned, there should be another instrument with similar timbre panned opposite to balance the sound. Hope this helps.

Focus on highlighting the most important passages and instruments, especially the brass and percussion instruments. Both tend to need a good volume boost in MuseScore 4 Muse Sounds. In terms of the whole orchestra, playback at the loudest excerpt and adjust until the master meter peaks around 0 units. 0:43 in the video demonstrates this step. Hope this helps.

Medium room reverb is my favorite reverb effect and I would recommend it for most styles, especially those with fast paced passages. But feel free to experiment which option (or no option) works and sounds best for your particular piece. Hope this helps.

​@@karolcpmusic I would like to use the melody in an orchestral work. I am looking for melodies or themes to go with a particular orchestral work. For this work, I only have sketches so far, so it's not even started yet.

Please do not use this melody especially in regard to uses other than live performances; it is too special for me to personally lend it for anything else. However, you may use my other melodies and short ideas to give your own take on them if you wish. Just let me know in advance.

​@@karolcpmusic I am a hobby composer and not a real composer. When I do, I only upload the piece of music to KZbin via a music programme. I change this piece of music anyway so that it no longer sounds like the original.

As a hobby composer myself, I understand. If you are looking to draw inspiration from this melody, you are welcome to do so. I simply did not want to lend the melody itself for variations (the way Brahms did with a Hayden melody and Jürgen Hinz with Debussy's Clair de Lune) or other similar uses. I hope you understand. Thank you for your wonderful comment. Yes, by comparison to the dry synthesized sounds, I think it is because Muse Sounds are sampled instruments which hold that beauty found in actual instruments.

If you are referring to MuseScore 4 playback "attack", that might be solved by applying the Compress effect to the individual instrument(s). I have not fully tested this yet. The Compress effect as well as other effects (such as reverb) can be found in the Muse Hub "Effects" tab.
