This version is a good song, and I can see why people like it, but I feel like the final version is just a more refined and more focused song overall, and I'm glad that it was ultimately the one selected for the final release.

Spun this version in rotation before the album came out at the alternative station I was programming at the time. We were in such a small market nobody from the label ever noticed, but we got a ton of requests for it. FAR superior to the album version in my opinion.

So interesting. This song has the album version of Talk's riff, along with drums that sound similar to Square One's. Sounds like a mashup between the two amazing songs in live, in my opinion. Pretty cool.

It's not the first version. This is the version that was going to be used on the album. But the record label thought the first version was better. So that's the one that got on the album

Omg, love both this and the official album version. Totally agree with other people that they should release a "first drafts" album. So much of their original versions are seriously good, in addition to how they changed and finally released them which are also completely fabulous to.
