How did the Armstrong board go? Have you tried it prone? What mast position do you use? Cheers

Nice video!! Shocked to see you don’t fill it up to 100% and slam it for the surf wave!

@AquaFilesАй бұрын
Bro! Totally forgot lol, I usually run setting one with about half ballast and 11.7 mph! If there’s not much weight I’ll go up to setting 3 and slow down to 11.6! Hope that helps! 🔥

Is being taller an advantage in foiling, especially in pumping because of the longer legs that can have an ability to pump?
@AquaFiles2 ай бұрын
I don’t think being tall is an advantage. I think the less weight equates to more glide and more efficiency.
@Jonpilo-uz1yfАй бұрын
@@AquaFiles how about the longer legs? For me, it seems to be advantageous

Is the pump between the 1080 and 780 a big difference? I have the 880 and am realizing from videos like yours maybe I should get a larger wing for the small days to link more waves. Aloha 🤙🏼
@AquaFiles2 ай бұрын
Aloha! The difference between 1080 and 780 is definitely pretty major! The 1080 has sooo much pump and glide it’s insane!!! Can link so many waves on that wing, I love it for the small days. 🙌🏼

Sick! Looks like goat island? How do you shim the 205? I wasn’t crazy with the feels of it with 1080 like the dart better but maybe I need to change shim.
@AquaFiles2 ай бұрын
I don’t shim, you’re right though the 1080 definitely goes better and is faster with the 140 dart! I just like the surfy feel that the 205 provides, but I think for the 1080 I’ll stick with the 140 or 180 from now on 🙌🏼

So smooth, I’m ridding the 1080 with the 180 stab, does the 220 stab give you more glide in small conditions? Also are you shining when it’s tiny?
@AquaFiles2 ай бұрын
220 will definitely give you some more glide! Thanks for watching!

what's the easiest setup to learn to ocean foil on?
@AquaFiles2 ай бұрын
I would recommend the Armstrong HA880 / 60 fuse / 180 tail / 795 performance mast

Hey Noah, great video! I have been a big fan of your behind boat antics for awhile so it is nice to see some big wave ocean sessions! I was excited to see your set up details in the comments, but the Armstrong website must have only the next generation of kit as none of what you listed is on there? At 80kg, what set up should I buy for wake surfing that allows me to both pump in the flats and get air for tricks?

I just bought a loaded riot 2 weeks ago. I love the board even from the first ride. I've been riding the remedy for awhile now and wanted to change it up. I got adjusted to your board in no time. Huge bummer they aren't continuing it.
