You might be trolling but in case you're not, you should really look up how to actually do a case 3 recovery. You basically did a very poor case 1 recovery at night, which would always be case 3.

In many ways night landings are easier than during the day as it requires less piloting but more systems. If you setup icls, tacan and brc properly and fly the numbers, there's no real reason not to get aboard. Look up a tutorial on a case 3 recovery. In short, setup your systems then from the marshal stack, slowly decent to 1200ft agl. Be configured for landing (gear down, hook down and on speed) before 6 nm out then fly needles till you're visual and call the ball.

VR certainly helps with getting visuals quickly and being able to look around your cockpit to view controls. But it does have some down sides, Quest 2 I am using is a bit blurry but manageable. More expensive setups will look more clear I assume.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing.

Out of 5 attemps to do a night landing i made only one. Usually splash on the final approach. Check your kneeboard and look for ICLS and punch that in on the ILS button and then on the HSI page box it. When you come in for a landing it will make a cross and have a perfect glide slope

Insanely overpowered with those 6 standard missiles loadout/6CD instead of 2... Really frantic and wild gameplay! Well made, makes me want to find that mod. I've been dreaming of a fusion between Armored Core 6 and Ace Combat 7... Fighting with mechs/hybrid planes in an open world game would be awesome...

The mod is called "VF-1 Valkyrie (Super Dimension Fortress Macross)". It would be nice to see a modern Macross SDF game, or another Robotech game. Robotech Battlecry was decent.

There are in ps2 and PSP, it's not the exact 1:1 same feels as ace combat, and it's mostly in Japanese language.

Probably the part at 3:32 where he has high rpm setting set and goes from fully idle power to ramming the throttle fully forward rather quickly. Engines don't like that, especially after extended periods of time at high power/rpm settings already.

Removed up-scaling, it did not seem to help with image quality in anyway. Only way to increase image quality is get a higher end VR headset. With upscaling I ran out of VRAM. With a higher end VR headset, the resolution is so high, typically below or higher than 4K, that I might still run out of VRAM.
