Thank you for this. Was looking for an easy recipe using jalapeños. They came out so good and delicious. The only thing I changed was I used fresh jalapeños and diced them. I wish I made more. Everyone loved them.

Crock-pot, no oil, seasoned with onion and garlic powder and a nice coating of Better than Beef bouillon (undiluted) from the jar, cooked on low 6-7 hours. Add mushrooms and onions every 2 hours to layer the taste and textures! Serve it to Bobby Flay and he'll change his career to something else lol. 🤣

Oven roasted potatoes are always nice. That cut is not the best steak though andI feel should be braised for a long time to make the meat tender .I had seen another recipe where they boiled them, not the greatest choice either. I'm sure yours tastes good though. That boiled one I'm not so sure 😕

I fry mine in duck fat, I love halloumi fries! Perfect for steak frites! Definitely will try with the peri peri spices (I happen to have a blend in my spice cupboard!) or maybe with a Harissa and sumac dip 😋

Ngl shank is a pretty tough cut. Im not sure a sear was the best way to go with it. A long oven roast at low heat would have made it more tender but it looks ok.

I just made this for my lunch and now I feel sick. Not because it wasn't good but because it was so good that I've just eaten all of it to myself. It says restaurant style, well actually it was better, because I used great ingredients. Highly recommended trying it. A squeeze of lemon at the end is a necessity.

In some oil you could brown 4 cloves of garlic (chopped). Then in a bowl mix all the spices from the video and salt with 1/2 can of plum tomatoes and then cook with the browned garlic until the spices have cooked through. You could also just use 2 tsp garlic paste instead of garlic cloves and mix in a bowl with 1/2 can plum tomatoes, spices and salt and cook that in oil until cooked through as well, if that makes sense?
