Soft shoes are so freaking painful for me😢 is that normal? My toe is turning blue. It’s only 1 size smaller then my regular shoe size
@SInkiHui199710 ай бұрын
from the sound of it, sounds like your shoes are too tight, the stiffness wouldn't turn your toes blue.

9:34 that's not how intermezzo goes, which starts right and goes straight up. That'd be a whole other line which doesn't exsist, FA?
@rockrasslingroy8 ай бұрын
2yrs later but you're absolutely right. Looks like he might have done an FA and not even realised. He seems to start near a V10/7C+ called La Gran Evasion and link into Intermezzo from the left. I haven't seen it recorded anywhere.

i might be wrong but isnt intermezzo supposed to start from the right?

Perfect format, super chill and epic boulders. Fewer and fewer climbing videos highlight the climbing itself and tend to focus more on who is climbing. Matt, you're a fucking beast, this looks like a ton of fun. Thank you to everyone involved in making this.

44:55 - RE: 18yr olds and 50yr olds sparring on the same arena - You can draw parallels between climbing and surfing here - back in the 80's and 90's pro surfers retired by 30 - and whilst granted he is an exception, you have a 49yr old Kelly Slater still capable and driven to compete and surf at the highest level against guys less than half his age. It might be that if you have the drive to progress, continue to develop your wellbeing and fitness, in a multi-facetted skill based 'activity' such as climbing or surfing, experience can be your biggest asset - and that's surely best achieved through practice and conscious diagnosis over time - ie: experience

Its all about climbing outside, indoors is about training to be able to do some cool climbs outside. With covid there were so many more people outdoors that where mainly just indoor climbers before, which is nice to get more people out but some crags can get to congested now, thats why love that the gyms are back open and its got colder, less people outside now that the try hard time of year has come
