Thanks! Great informative video. The fan in my year old Hota S6 just quit..was wondering where the heck the other 2 screws were,LOL. Hopefully it's the fan itself and not the circuitry that controls it.. kinda sad that after just a year the fan gave up.

If the motors are upsidedown on the bottom for a cine whoop 2.5 is it the same idea? Is it opposite? Do the letters in the props face down or up? I'm so confused. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

When i first got my charger the fan made a nice air sound. Now its a lil low pitched, kinda rumbly, or sounds kinda like a vibration... worried ima have trouble soon. I got a dusty house with lots of dog fur, do you think i should open and try to clean it out before i face problems?

I know this is a old video, but I have a ? I'm using a Taranis Q7X on Liftoff and cannot get the switches to take, using the sim's controller interface. I'm not using Beta Flight and prefer not too.Rather not learn another piece of software at age 70....The ? is, will the input screen do the job, or is the mix page also necessary for the sim to see the switches. Thanks for sharing this with us. I'm considering this myself. I just used a mini grappling hook to retrieve a parachute that I dropped from my drone which landed in a tree, but for pulling a drone out of a tree this claw would probably do a better job. Since lifting a typical drone with a weight of up to 900 grams that's nearly the maximum payload of my Mavic 3 so I'd replace the eye bolt with a nylon bolt and nylon nuts. Since this thing is only rated for lifting up to 5 pounds that would be plenty strong enough and since this is intended for use with a drone I'd probably also replace all the nuts and bolts with nylon nuts and bolts which should lighten up the whole contraption by at least 50% of its original weight. I'd be surprised if all of that metal hardware doesn't weigh more than all of the carbon fiber parts combined. That eye bolt is way overkill so that would go for sure. After making those changes that should take the weight of the Mantis Claw from 95 grams down to about 48 grams. That should allow the Mavic 3 series of drones to lift a drone weighing about 850 grams. I would also use braised fishing line for the tether keeping the weight down to a minimum.

The bad thing about it is that you cant find spare parts

in this situation first give right roll and three things can happen: 1) drone moves towards your right (then its front is 180deg away from you, in this case give 180deg right yaw and forward pitch), 2) drone move left (then its front is facing towards you and you can bring back by giving forward pitch), 3) drone does not show lateral move meaning front of drone is either facing your left or right. In case of situation (3) give minor forward pitch and if drone move towards your right then give minor right yaw and forward pitch till the drone stops moving laterally indicating it is now coming toward you. similarly if drone move towards your left then give minor left yaw and forward pitch till the drone stops moving laterally indicating it is now coming towards you.

Every time I try to fly the drone won't follow remote commands. I've pressed the reset button and even tried the controller lever and press reset. I put in fresh charged batteries in controller. When I check the controller batteries they seem to discharge fast even with new aa recharge batteries. I'm to the point of wiring in two 18650 3.7 volt batteries to the controller. If I don't use a buck transformer to reduce the voltage it might be to high. How much could you push the controller voltage? With aa recharge the voltage would be 4.8 with alkaline 6.0 voltage. Would the extra 1.4 be too much? Thanks

Do you know where I can info to recalibrate/reset this drone than just pressing the reset on the controller. I thing the the gyro needs resetting. Every time I try to fly it won't respond well. Thnks
