Our DM did the same thing for our almost 2 year long Star wars DND. He even made a custom slideshow with how our characters lives played out. Or at least the ones that survive, ironically my Jedi character who would always get bad rolls was the only one that died lol

Yes Man victory expanded: Followers of the Apocalypse (Rivas narrating): “The courier bequeathed Helios One and the deserted Vault 3 to the Followers, and stationed Securitrons to protect the areas from the Brotherhood and remaining Fiends. Eventually, the Followers found themselves supplied with technology from Big Mountain, allowing them to continue their operations. Though they were still hard-pressed, the Courier’s boon went a long way in helping the Followers in the Mojave.” NCR (Colonel Moore narrating): “Defeated and sent packing by the courier’s betrayal, the NCR forces made their way back home through the Long 15. Tensions between NCR and Vegas remained for a while, before NCR citizens began making their way back to the city where fortunes were won and lost in an instant. Electricity and water flowed into California, trade caravans made their way to and fro, and the amendments made to House’s treaty by the courier allowed NCR to get a much better provision than they would’ve received otherwise. Though they lost New Vegas and the Mojave, the NCR did not leave empty-handed.” Legion (narrated by Lucius): “With the defeat of the Legion by the NCR and Courier at Hoover Dam, and the demise of the Legion’s leaders at fortification hill by the awakened Securitrons, the roving army of slavers and butchers that once threatened the NCR was broken and without purpose for the first time. Though some tried to keep Caesar’s ideals alive, the tribes that encompassed the Legion fractured and separated. Infighting broke out, and within a few years, the Legion was no more. The remnants either reclaimed their old tribal identities, became listless wanderers, or successfully integrated into Vegas and the NCR.

"Hopeville burned lightless in the night, invisible fires of radiation scorching it from within and without. It is said a man still walked its streets, with a tattered jacket, an Old World flag etched on the back. He remained there, perhaps as punishment for the scars he left on the wastes. Or a reminder of a history he could not forget. For Ulysses, his journey was over. The Courier had been the end of his road."

(Read in Ron Perlman Voice with this playing) So in the end, Todd Howard came through with his great promise, that he would wipe the infamous legacy weapons from the Face of the earth, however while there would be conflict, the future of Appalachia was set on a path to a better future for every wastelander that’d gone by. 🤣🥹

“The Capital Wasteland proved a cruel inhospitable place, but the Lone Wanderer refused to surrender to the vices that had claimed so many lives. The simplicity and easy extension of this track is a good reminder that it isn't over, which is far more eerie than any 'end of civilisation' ending. If the human race is wiped out, then that's it. If things go on ambiguously, it could be for our better or for our worse - in the world of Fallout, it's no longer our place to determine which it will be once the slides roll.

"Because war... war never changes. Men do, though the roads they walk and this road has reached its end" Hearing that from Ulysses at the end of Lonesome road was a gut puncher, but also satisfying at the same time. A great conclusion to a great game.

Fallout 1: The Vault Dweller, saves Vault 13 and the Wasteland. Fallout 2: The Chosen One, defeated the Enclave and saves the Wasteland. Fallout 3: The Lone Wanderer, sacrificed himself to save the Capital Wasteland for his father. Fallout New Vegas: The Courier, siding with House, NCR, Legion, or Yes Man, choose the fate of New Vegas. Fallout 4: The Sole Survivor, found his son. Fallout 76: The Vault Dwellers of Vault 76, just gone out for fun.

"There is an expression in the Wasteland: "Old World Blues." It refers to those so obsessed with the past they can't see the present, much less the future, for what it is. They stare into the what-was, eyes like pilot lights, guttering and spent, as the realities of their world continue on around them. Science is a long, steady progression into the future. What may seem a sudden event often isn't felt for years, even centuries, to come."

Hearing this brings back so many many memories. Some I’ll never get to see again. And in a few more years we’ll forget about this game. Then our kids will one day ask “what was your favorite game as a kid.” All we’ll do is stare at a wall tearing up as every memory comes back. May our first step into the fps fallout rest in our hearts. And to all the kids out there. Legends are never forgotten, and war…….war never changes

The Commonwealth Wasteland where each lives ware constantly threatened and relationships were tenuous due to suspicions, but...Sole Survivor would not succumb to the malice that had claimed so many others. The values passed on from lost world to survivor... hope, affluence, and rebuilding guided this noble soul through countless trials and triumphs. It was not until the end of this long road that the Survivor was faced with the greatest of sadness... it's the "Choice". The his beloved son, was supposed to share pain and suffering with family, had become idolized, as the master of the sterile chamber that had fallen into the cruel that zealot scientist follows Thankfully, when the heretic Institute attempt to let you follow the horrible scheme that replacing the people, by inorganic mechanical puppets, SYNTH, to establish the utopia, on Wasteland, the Sole survivor rejected. The stopped, steel hands of minute hand had finally begun to move. True capitalism, where no one is trapped, has been revived. For folks that follows railed road. The Commonwealth Wasteland, at long last, was saved. the story of the Survivor who escaped from the Gehenna-flame and into the annals of legend, but the war fire will never be finned only minutes notice. for the reclamation is a part of the war without end. war.... War never changes.

*The Courier, lured by the promise of the Sierra Madre, could not escape. Once inside the vault, the casino did not let go. When the Courier finally passed away, the casino created a new Hologram to walk with the other ghosts that filled its casino. It was a pre-programmed homage intended for another. It assumed a new meaning in the likeness of the Courier. A means of allowing even the dead to begin again.* Fallout: New Vegas, Dead Money DLC, *dont go in shelter, guys*
