I’ve never done this ride, but it’s on my bucket list. I really enjoyed watching this video and your editing. Well done! And I’ve watched a lot of KZbin videos. This is the only one that I’ve left a comment on….really interesting and good work.

Thank you so much for doing this. Many of our biking friends have ridden RAGBRAI. I always thought it would be fun, but I'm not much of a camper. We have done multi-day rides, but always supported, and hotels. I am going to subscribe to see how the rest of the week went. Hope you had fun!

It's hilarious to me that PBV is such a big charter that we never ran into eachother the whole week. I had watched your video in the lead up to the ride so I was looking for you but never saw you. Good videos! I also posted a ragbrai video if you have a chance to check it out.
@cardinalcrimespodcast2 ай бұрын
I will check it out!! And it really is so crazy how big the charter is!

Tent 30 here if we are doing a PBV Check In 😂 My 2nd RAGBRAI and not my last. Travelled over from London UK and think it is a great cycling event like nothing else.

Looks like so much fun in the towns! How do you charge stuff? Phone, camera, and drone. Can you charge everything with your power bank all week?
@cardinalcrimespodcast2 ай бұрын
It was so fun!! I charged my phone and GoPro with my power bank, and after three days had to find a way to charge the power bank itself. With the pork belly ventures charter they had charging trailers so that was nice! When I rode self supported in 2022 I usually tried to find an outlet in the camping area, or I’d bring a phone charger with on the ride and find a charger in one of the towns and let the phone charge while I took a break! For the drone I only brought it out on a couple of the days and used it until the battery died!
@dustysadventures2 ай бұрын
@@cardinalcrimespodcast cool. I was wondering how you would charge the power bank. That’s cool the charters offer charging stations.

Can I suggest a video of video of what you brought for supplies and what you learned and what you are going to bring next time. Also from the perspective of a solo rider. What you liked what you didn’t like? Make your title more broad, so someone who is searching for information and not just ragbri specific does that make sense
@cardinalcrimespodcast3 ай бұрын
Thank you!! I definitely will make and post one!
@Onhereforfun85nodrama3 ай бұрын
@@cardinalcrimespodcast at least that what I do a lot on KZbin. If I haven’t done something before or need information I search for it. The more broad you make than people might find you easier

@RetiredAdventurers3 ай бұрын
nice , great information. So if you pay extra , do they supply the tent?
@cardinalcrimespodcast3 ай бұрын
Yep! They have a couple different packages, it’s a bit extra for the tent service. I think with all the other amenities it would be worth it to even do their base package and bring your own tent! The bonus of bringing your own tent is being able to find a spot to set it up in the shade. My tent was almost always set up right in the son so it would be blazing hot until morning

I don’t know how it would work but cut the old boards down to smaller sizes like 2 inches and make an out door compost pile. It might take a year to degrade. Don’t know how it would work
