I still respect airbus for looking into the issue before it becomes significant

If i were to run an airline id never AT THE MOMENT use the a220 or e190e2 untill they fixed engines. Id rather use the a320neo as i could use the cfm leap 1a which is just as efficient and also has slightly more power.. The 737 max has too many issues and other aircraftanufacturers are still testing new planes

If this is true that it's coming back, oh man this puts me to tears. I hope it continues being produced again by Boeing.

In order the "pandemic" to be ended, Europe was forced to stop the production of the A380. A secret "peace treaty" ... for making way to Boeing 777X. Because the tech superiority of Airbus was impossible to be stopped by fair market competition.

The airbus a350 is a very beautiful aircraft. But we all have to admit, in spite of all what Boeing is going through, the 777X is a monster! Especially with those engines, that’s a serious piece of machine.

I go out of my way to try to fly on the A380. It just seems to be much more pleasant than any other aircraft I have been on. Some airlines fly routes where they use a mixture of the A380 and other aircraft so given the same airline and same class the flight on the A380 always seems so much better. Even when looking at the seat plans given by some well known websites and finding that they say there is no difference there certainly seems to be. I like the aircraft so much that I've even been known to choose one destination over another so that I can fly on one.

Nothing is more inefficient than retiring good old perfectly working aircraft and building a new one.

My family and I have flown, economy on both aircraft type on the same route Melbourne Australia to LA. USA (return) in 2009 on Qantas A380, and then in 2012 on United Airlines B747-8. Great experience, on both occasions.

Obviously, the B747 are operated 'profitably' otherwise it would have been replaced. no?

ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES IS A GOOD AIRLINE but buying BOEING aeronautical junk is a bad move notwithstanding the deep discounts they got.
@codyslade55585 күн бұрын
The 777-9X will be a success and might just help Boeing with their image. Much focus will be on Boeing/777-9X as it enters service. It is good to remember that the 777X program was not late so much as circumstances at Boeing (repeatedly) put this airplane aside to work on pressing issues at hand. With the extreme oversight of the Boeing Company, we can look forward to the excellence that the company has been known for throughout its lengthy (over 100 years) history irregardless of what the ‘Airbus only’ crowd thinks or wishes.

The one that can deliver will get more sales. Airbus and Boeing both got a lot of orders, it's all about how fast they can deliver.

If they really gonna reactivate the 747 - 8, they need to fix Their problem within the company first. If I need a 747, I'm going straight for the 747 400.

Great plane, made some long flights with it. Lots of space and power, beside that it is a icon, it is very comfortable. A update would be a great choice but Boeing has some huge internal problems to resolve with managment and priority's.

The behaviour of Boeing is inexcusable. Never will I fly on a Boeing aircraft again just on principal alone. Imagine taking an old airframe and thinking that sticking on bigger engines was going to be a success. Imagine trying to point out safety issues and getting murdered for doing so. I believe the last CEO walked away with a 60 million package.

Considering Boeing cry the their government to impose a 300% taxe to Bombardier C series that resulted the sale of the plane to Airbus and everything that followed, I have no regard fore that company. I don't want bad for the employees but I should hope Boeing fire all those people involve and to be sold to entrepreneurs with some backbone.

I think that the problems with Boeing all started with the MD11. What I suspect is that the faulty wiring on those planes caused fires on board and brought the Swiss Air flight down. They got away with it back then and have continued their path.
