@@Tyrone-o7y on the TI30XIIS there is a A b/c button. That's your fraction button. There is also a secondary button f<>d which converts from fraction to decimal.

How do you solve an expression like this..... 3x^7+4x^6+5 over x^2 using this calculator?

You don't. You're not solving it you're simplifying it. Each of your exponents get reduced by 2 and the 5 is left over x^2 because it doesn't have any factors of x to cancel. You should end up with 3x^5 +4x^4 + 5/x^2

On your calculator you should see a function that says "f< >d". I think it comes up in the video.

Wow Amazing! I have been trying to find out how to use this for 3 days... You did it in 6 minutes! BRAVO!!! I did not know what these were. I am studying to pass my Math GED and was lost... When do you know when to use the AC method

Unless I immediately see a factoriztion, I use the AC method. If it factors over the integers, then the AC method will work. If it doesn't factor then none of the factor pairs work.

Or 3(3) is 9 then 2(5) is 10 Then 10 + 9 is 19 5(3) is 15 3(5) is 15 these are unlike fractions.

This calculator cannot solve algebraic equations for you. That's just beyond it's capabilities unfortunately. You'll need a TI 83 or better if you want to do something like that.

Ok I don’t know what I did but every time I press the enter button it adds a 7 to me answer So like I’ll put 7*7 enter and it adds a 7 and the answer is 539 your help is much appreciated 🤞🏼

Kevin, do you know to get the calculator to display, e.g., cos^(-1)[0] as "pi/2" instead of "1.5707"? I've already put it in radian mode using the [DRG] button. Thanks for the video and any help!

There really isn't a way to do that on this calculator. The TI 30 XS has a "math print" mode and can do that I think. What you can do is after you get your answer, divide by pi and then change it from decimal to fraction. That's the best I've got. I hope that helps.
