Cool, but... Why the vast majority of cyclekarts don't have rear suspension?
@junkyardracer574 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching - cyclekarts are a mix between a cyclecar and a go kart - hence the fixed frame at the rear. This is based off the original Stevenson cyclekart that started it all in the 90’s. You’re more than welcome to add rear suspension if you’d like but the point of cyclekarts is for it to be fun, cost effective and accessible to everyone from beginners onward.

Just finished watching the series. I've got all the parts to build a cyclekart for my kids, but I'm a little lost in the design. I have too many indeas and not much time. My main struggle is yo keep it simple and not get carried away. Greetings from Canberra.

Thank you for watching the videos, I hope they gave you a little bit of inspiration. The hardest part is choosing the pre war car to recreate. Once you make that decision everything else will flow. You’ve got all the parts, make a decision this weekend and get started!

Keep up the great work.

Hi Tim, Andrew here - Noel’s son. I know dad got the wheels and the bulk of the components from China through Ali Express and has been surprised and pleased with the quality.
