Catlick from Liverpool here. We loved the bigotry back in the 60s real heathens we were. Used to wait for the lodge on top of the railway bridge at Rice Lane then pop up and hurl rocks as they marched under then leg it down the track laughing our cocks off - fookin' great days. Oddly enough uncle Mike used to take me and our kid with his family (staunch proddies) to Southport for the lodge gathering and the fair - brilliant day out. I still place "the sash" right up there as one of my fave tunes. The bigotry and associated thuggery between green and orange is much undervalued

I am speechless: what on earth is this noise & nonsense all about. Historically incorrect, divisive of communities in NI, an excuse for violence and religious intolerance. And you all revel in it. THAT is my point + look back over many, many years at what happened BECAUSE of such parades. They are 100% divisive & calculated to be such. Two fingers up to the Catholic minority. Good, decent living people on both sides of the religious divide suffered ‘The Troubles for years’ and the World watched - right & wrong on both sides we know, AND in 2024 you’re telling me it’s harmless. We also have villages and towns considered for Britain Bloom competitions. It’s those you need to tell England, Scotland and Wales = Britain. Note I don’t refer to it as GB, cause there’s Fugh all ‘great’ about it. We Irish are an independent sovereign nation who have been colonised and invaded by planters, (.thieving, murdering bastards at that). It’s Not part of Britain.
