@@nenosprint Read the title of your video. In may not have been your intent, but that is what you have done. Very common for R/C posters to do this. As an owner of an actual Pilatus B4, I would not have clicked on your video if I had known it was … just another R/C “crash” video.

@@alanaldpal950 You are the only one who misinterpreted , even if the title is not clear to you, the first frames of the video should have dispelled your doubt, they report model data and it is clear that this is not a full size.

@@nenosprint My friend….. I own a real Pilatus B-4…. I was aware that it was an R/C very quickly, once I wasted my time AFTER clicking and watching a bit….I would not have clicked on your video if I knew it was an R/C crash. Your title and thumbnail gave no, zero, nada, nothing, indication that it was not a real aircraft crash. I suspect the majority of people are more likely to click on a video of a real aircraft crash and not a toy. Why not just write Pilatus B-4 on the side of a paper airplane and post that video as an “airplane crash”. I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are not intentionally trying to get more clicks, but now I am not so sure. HAVE A GOOD DAY.

This is the first type of aircraft I ever flew in at Bembridge, Isle of Wight around 1950.. The second was a Miles Magister at Denham airfield and those flights prompted me to try hang gliding, then ultra lites and later GA. Twiggy, what a great little aircraft.

I grew up on a farm in the 1970s. Our family used to rent out half the space in our rather large barn for storage. For several years we had a pilot store his partially disassemble Gypsy Moth in it. Unfortunately, the area was locked and I never got a first hand look at it, but we kids would peer through the slats to see it occasionally. It was quite fascinating to me as a child.

Why the strakes mounted on the rear fuselage. They are surly not needed. The DH82A is quite stable in all respect. One of the DH82 great values is, its a great spinning qualities.

I think the RAF asked for the anti spin strakes to be added to all Dh82 that were used as RAF Trainers. As this plane has the strakes fitted it is likely an ex RAF aircraft.

Complimenti, Danilo! Carino il modello, e convincente il secondo lancio. "Grazie" ad ENAC" l'aeromodellismo ufficiale, già da lungo tempo, in coma, ora è li li per decedere. Fortunatamente sopravviverà ufficiosamente con l'associazionismo spontaneo, così come avviene da oltre un decennio in Sardegna ed in altre locali vaste territoriali realtà.

Uso il PVC da 07/1 mm. O il più costoso PETG.

Ciao Danilo che spessore aveva il pvc? secondo te si possono usare spessori di 5-6 mm anche? Lo spessore rimane costante in tutta la superficie termoformata finita la lavorazione?

Ciao lo spessore era di 0,7 mm. ho notato che nei punti più alti viene meno spessa , ho provato con lo spessore da 1 mm. NON è venuta bene .

Venerdì 19/07/2013 secondo collaudo con nuovo setup: Elica tripala 14x7 Pacco batterie 6 celle da 6 Amp. Assorbimento 65 Amp. Potenza 1440 Watt. E' aumentata la trazione senza aumentare la velocità, volo realistico.
