You are welcome. I used to speedrun Normal mode and EZR mode, and I beat EZR mode in like 13 minutes one time. I played this game everyday during my 9th grade year, I was so addicted...XD I played Hard mode as well, and I got two branches done but then I cleared my cache and I didn't know that saved data from online games is in your cache, so I never went back to it. I cleared the multijump branch and the wall jump branch.

Will do. I used to speedrun EZ a lot, so I have a couple of fun tricks. One of which though, as demonstrated here, caused me to get softlocked...XD

Um I haven't really played in forever, I'd have to get back into Speedrunning some of the game modes to relearn all my "fun tech", but there are some tricks that I have learned that make you go really fast when you do them. They are often precise, and a little bit was shown in here, but nothing too fancy. Oftentimes my speed tech is required in Hard Mode though, so it helped me out a lot there. I might research a little bit into EZ mode, but I was super big into hardcore speedrunning EZR mode. I got like 13 min I believe on a run, and I had a run that was almost deathless too. I was right at the end when I died, so it wasn't flawless, but still. I might try to get a sub 14 again and post that.

Do you play or watch Spelunky??? Sometimes the algorithm just throws random things at you to find your "taste". You should check out some of the other things with this game.

Maybe one day. I go for crazy runs, so I have a bit of recognition, but I'm not popular by any means. I don't have enough time to put towards youtube to "blow up" sadly. But I love the spirit!!!

I've had a lot of realizations. I've also gotten a Max No% Hell entry. Both are absolutely absurdly good.

Yeah I have HD toolbox, I just often forget to open it. Thanks though!!! I tend to think of HD toolbox as a modder, which it is, but its allowed with mossranking as it fixes some stuff like Slow look.

Yeah this happens so often and its infuriating. I'm going for Low% True crown CO and I get to NeoBab so often its crazy, but then I die to crap like this...

Yeah it woulda been awful to do real Low% for sure. True Crown is pretty useful for low CO. It makes it realistic. I didn't use a single rope the entire run. Infinite bombs and all you gotta do is not take damage.

It's a struggle but that's just how this place is. It's designed like that. I had a concert on Sunday. I had 4 solos that I played. @@Alphaminx internet has been so bad this past week or so haven't been able to use it. Switched service providers, & it's still pretty bad. I was trying to listen to the videos you shared & got through some of it, but kept buffering. I did look up the euphonium as I wanted to know what you play, but was unfamiliar with the term. I'm really glad you play music for various reasons, including it being good for your brain, & a valuable creative outlet. Love you. I will try to have a better listen once we get our service more functional. (There's a little dude who reminds me a lot of you once upon a time, who seems quite interested in hearing it, too.)

I've been practicing a lot.... I get the set-up to this run so often and get to Olmec and screw up what I call "the check" (bookskip), as it's super precise and I'm not great at it. With all the times I've failed it, I've begun to learn the correct line ups finally...XD

This game is Spelunky HD, and it is one of the best games I've ever played. I speedrun it, and I actually was trying something I've never done before while doing this run. It was oddly successful, for this type of run (hired hands are notoriously sporadic and also glitchy, and they often get you killed). I've been playing this game almost since it came out, which was over 11 years ago. It takes a lot of practice to get good but trust me, it's worth it if you put the time in. The levels are never ever the same when you play the game, so it's always a challenge. Speedrunners, myself included, have to get good with our reaction time rather than, with most other games, memorizing a certain set of inputs and grinding it to perfection. Even the most skilled Spelunky players still have stupid deaths, and sometimes if you die, there was literally nothing you could have done to avoid it (without having foresight). You should check it out!!! It's regularly 15 dollars on steam and PS4 and such, but often goes on sale for between literally free and 5 bucks. I got it on the PS4 that I recorded this video on for $1.49. Good luck spelunking if you choose to!!! You'll definitely need it... XD

I've gotten to 7-3 I think with a true crown chain low set up to CO. I've gotten to sunken city maybe 4 or 5 times, but I also don't try this category often because, for a few reasons, it sucks... XD It's fun though. I've gotten to hundun and almost killed him on a chain low CO setup, but I didn't know about "heavy state" so I got a fireball to my feet, killing me. I've gotten to hundun 2 or 3 times on a chain low CO set up. I've thought about attempting a *Low%* true crown CO run, but it sounds like it sucks... a lot... having to be cursed basically from either area 4, and also pulling off bubble skip while teleporting every 22 seconds. Sounds like perpetual death to me.

To which part??? XD That statement applies to a lot of that run. Best part is that was just one of my leisurely attempts with the exception of jungle 2-4 and it was on world record pace into 3-4 basically.

It’s nice to have world records again. I just got a second no% hell clear this morning at like 1 am which will be posted soon. It’s not much faster but I’m going for consistency mainly.

Thank you. I’m actually getting like faster runs much more often now than I had been. I’ve gotten 2 other low% runs on basically the same pace where I died in Olmec. I’ve also had some others with 10 or 15 seconds ahead where I die in temple.

Got into NCSSM. I placed into Calculus before taking precal.

I had no clue it was a world record (much less 2) because it felt very slow. Crazy thing to think about is my best hell run used to be like 12 minutes and 40 seconds... I’ve definitely gotten a lottttt better than I was..🤣🤣🤣

I know your initials-type thing, WGPL, and for whatever reason I’ve always called you wagplay in my head. What should I call you???

@@Mathemaniac187 I think that "weggie" (like vegetable) would work, the commentators from the aso tournament called me that so i think it should stay.

@@WGPL7979 okay. I’m a speedcuber and one of the things I learned this last summer was how to solve one blindfolded. We use letters to memorize where the pieces have to go before we close our eyes, and there are letter pair combinations I have in my head that I used, like GV is give, HA is Hay, LD is lad, WG is wag, and PL is play..🙃

Yeah. Though it often led to my death, I saw it as quite rewarding if I survived. The only thing I was annoyed with is that being frozen ignores i-frames because it doesn't do damage. Because of that, combined with the enhanced shotgun's ability to fire freeze ray and other damaging shots as well, if you get shot at by a shotgun you are almost guaranteed to die. But I played it risky a few times. I have a day to upload stuff again and then I won't be able to for quite a while again probably. I am gonna try for the true crown chain low% cosmic ocean record, though I doubt I'll actually get it.
