I was wondering what advice you may have for someone like me who is coming from the UK but wants to live in Lithuania? Should I find a job in UK where I could work remotely in Lithuania / find a job in UK which posts me to the Lithuania / or just look for a job as a foreigner in Lithuania itself where they could sponsor me for a work permit? Any suggestions? None seem particularly easy to do tbh)

Lithuania has arguably the lowest 1st driving test passing rate in Europe. 2023 saw 3 in 4 learners fail their 1st driving test. In the UK they allow for 15 [minor] mistakes to pass; in Lithuania, 8 (unless one makes a critical one). And they count all the little shit that can accumulate to 8+ mistakes fast. Like activating the windscreen wipers accidentally while doing a rear-drive maneuver (I had it happen to me personally). It's unreasonably complicated in Lithuania. It's a business. The worst rate in Europe speaks for itself. Although it's true that folks on the streets drive fine for the most part. Except for the speeding virus outbreak due to too low speeding fines for up to 30kmh or so.

I failed already three times my driving exam ;'-( I wanna try once again in January, but those 3 failed exams really destroyed my confidence in driving. Greetings from Poland. P.s. keep learning Lithuanian, very beautiful language 🥰🇱🇹 and dontcha worry, driving license is a choice and not a neccessity. If someone has a problem with the fact you don't drive then it is his or her problem.

Thank you so much for the kind words. And I agree with you that failures could really temper with one’s confidence. And yeah, I’m still onto that Lithuanian. I actually have to. It’s gonna be kinda compulsory from 2026. So I don’t really have too many choices. I kinda feel like having the license as a business owner is somewhat a necessity☹️

@obaa_borga you can do it 💞💞 it's important to keep trying. In Poland they fail your exam often because of marginal/tiny error while driving. Even if it's like nothing they gonna fail you cause obviously they want to drag from you as much money as they can, cause you have to pay additionaly for each try. It's very strict law to force people to learn the language, but from the other side maybe you'll learn Lithuanian even more so you'll be navigating through Lithuania even more confidently knowing the language. Fingers crossed for your exam, business, YT channel, language learning and everything Obaa 💞

@ that was funny by the way there was a guy I met. He was in the car smoking and he said Lithuania is dangerous. I said really so what bad things happened to you? He said nothing bad happened to me he said it can appear safe but it is actually dangerous. in my head. I’m thinking how can a country appear safe? And be dangerous. lol by the way he was smoking tobacco mixed with weed and knew his head is messed up and then it got me interested because I’ve been living here in Lithuania never ever something ever bad happened to me in this country I can walk in this country 24 hours 7 days a week and nothing will happen to me this person never lived in a dangerous country before lol 😂 so I searched up on the Internet about Lithuania safety and on KZbin and I found nothing I’m thinking where he’s getting his information from video games PlayStation X Xbox 900 never speak to someone Who is on weed or alcohol there minds are messed up.

Id be interested to learn what Vilnius is like during the winter time. Do people still go out, despite it being cold and dark outside? Or does it become very quiet on the streets and coffee shops etc?
@edvinasm7902

Im actually really interested in how you are treated by Lithuanian people. You met your husband there who I assume is Lithuanian so there must be some Lithuanians who like black people :) Btw I have an interesting idea for you) Lithuania doesnt have a big street food culture, have you thought about having an African food stall or van at events or perhaps at busy places in the city?

Actually, I’m treated very well in person. I get some hate comments online, but I think it’s a normal thing for black content creators in Lithuania. My husband is Lithuanian. He likes me for me. My race is actually secondary for him. And yes, there are some Lithuanians who genuinely like black people. I actually thought about it, but as a mother of a toddler and owner of a new business, I barely have time to do other things. We’d see how things go. Thank you very much for taking time to watch my video and write this great comment. I appreciate you❤️

@@obaa_borga My pleasure) ... I always thought Lithuanians were fascinated by outsiders, since its such a small place, & not many people from outside go there) ... but my experience is from years and years ago, & I don't know how much that may have changed over time especially with increasing numbers of immigrants into the country. On the idea about a food business, yes you've got your hands full, but maybe in the future) I certainly would like to try African food next time Im in Lithuania :)
