artie is a very interesting person. when I say what I am about to say, I don't mean it as an insult. But artie is the human embodiment of that mental image of a sad clown. What I mean by that is that he's such a funny guy off the cuff. I have seen him live a few times, and while his stand ups arent anywhere near as funny as his podcasts or work on stern, it's still all predicated on his multitude of demons. His drugs, and addiction, and hookers etc. I get that comics are disturbed people, on SOME level... but artie has such a knack for it, despite all those problems. Thats why I think of that image of like a sad hobo clown. I love that dude. I heard that hes gearing up for a comeback. I hope it's so. I hope he's managed to stay well. really miss that guy. I always think back to when I was 11 and saw Mad TV for the first time and got hooked on artie. He was just this "funny chubby guy". And then when I started learning how dirty his humor is, I got hooked. ART is the reason I got into talk radio starting with Stern.

1:13:45 Poor Mike. That woman snapped at him for complementing her, and Artie was dancing on his Ashe’s lmao. He kept trying to either make Mike complement her again, or point out a fault in her lmao

Howard was so right, John is only funny when he’s not trying. “How do you know it was Howard?” “Because it said, from Howard.” That wasn’t a joke, he meant that lol

Brussels on a gentle October evening. Dan Falato comes back with two rosé spritzers, as on the stage Tori Armos commences her rendition of Fiona Apple's ballad 'I Want You To Love Me'. After the first chorus Dan and Rick Steves knowingly look into each other's eyes, while Dan whispers "This is her song now" and folds has hand into Rick's.
