I would've tried the hair net to help secure the hair after you tried to roll/twist up the flyways. And then used bobby pins to secure the rest of the hair. It might work next time.

If you put a net on that top bun after the first hair band you would not need another band or any of those bobby pins. Just saying nets have helped me with my buns since I was able to bun my hair and I continue to use them . Life savers.

I really hate how they made the thermal print head hard to clean. Most thermal printers that I have owned have it exposed so you can clean it with a Q-Tip/Cotton ball and rubbing alcohol.

That’s the oil dear. That’s why I stopped using it on my locs. I just use a little light grease on my scalp when I first wash them like: Kuza-hemp; then run it down the shaft of my locs. Also, lint seems to embed in the hair more easily due to oils. I’m from when oil wasn’t used on hair. Your locs are beautiful!

Oouuu 37 sounds BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! But yeaaa luv this might not be the best route for you. I'm definitely going to try again to see if I can manipulate my locs in some sort of way but idk. I hope they make a wider hose that will be more conducive for thicker locs.

Interesting. Friday I washed my hair without retwisting it and I plaited it really tight to the scalp. Next time I wash it when it is time for a retwist I will plait it loose like you just did. It looks really nice. Continue to enjoy your loc journey.
