This is a conversation that needed to be had. Skin bleaching is still going on in our communities. SMDH…….Again, very well done! Keep these conversations coming.

Thank you so much for this video, it’s so hard to find anything on KZbin for bounce coil curls! Your videos really helped me decide this was the best curl pattern for me. Do you think I can get away with buying two 22in bundles if I’m doing a sew in with leave out?
@cuethegirl16 күн бұрын
Hi and welcome! Yes, I think 2 bundles should be enough especially if you are having leave out, and will look very natural. I just happen to love big hair so I always purchase an additional bundle. This hair does get really full when you brush or pick it out, but does return to the wavy curly state with water or your favorite leave in conditioner.

I also have a video and unboxing with a shampooing and conditioning so that you can see this hair in the natural state and how it performs after the process.....

There was no criminalization of interracial marriage in Canada, that is not factual.
@cuethegirl23 күн бұрын
You're right that Canada didn't have formal laws criminalizing interracial marriages like the U.S. did, especially during or after the Civil Rights Movement. However, while interracial marriage wasn't legally prohibited, there was still significant societal discrimination and racism that made these relationships difficult for many couples. Indigenous, Black, and other non-white communities often faced prejudice, and interracial couples could experience social exclusion and bias. So while there wasn’t formal criminalization, the reality was that racism still shaped many people's experiences. Thanks for raising this point-it's important to consider both the legal and social history when discussing this topic! This was my error, when reading my notes and checking the facts, I did use the term criminalization in reference to the areas outside of the United States. My intent was to expand on the broader historical context of interracial relationships in Canada. I really do appreciate your observation on the topic!❤

Hello. I am a South European woman residing in the USA. I grew up in Africa, in a country where my family worked. It was quite common for European men to have relationships with African women; it might have been somewhat taboo in South Africa at that time, but not in the country where we lived. However, it was rarer to see a European woman with an African man, though such couples did exist as well. The first boy I ever kissed was a black boy. In the USA, I was in a relationship with a black man for some time. The challenge was that his family and friends did not accept me. Due to that and a few other reasons, the relationship ended. This is my experience, but I am aware it's not an isolated incident. It's perplexing why individuals choose to broadcast their relationships on social media. Interracial relationships are not a novelty; they have been around for ages, transcending all kinds of barriers and involving all ethnicities, not just Africans and Europeans. In the past, relationships were matters of privacy, yet today, there's a trend to brag, and to share updates and intimate details online. Presently, no laws in our society prohibit relationships based on race or gender. We have the liberty to love and marry anyone we wish, making this a non-issue. Criticism often arises from those close to us, like family and friends. Therefore, it seems prudent for people to keep their personal lives to themselves and make choices independently of public scrutiny or external influence. :)

I absolutely agree I as well do not understand the need to publicize intimate details of one’s relationship on social media for the public to view criticize and dissect.

I know of black guys that like white women. These guys have seen their mom's in so many relationships growing up that they do not trust black women. Mothers with too many boy friends while they the kids were young. No father figures.

This was such an excellent commentary. I love that you touched on the history of Loving vs Virginia! This presentation was well done lady, keep them coming. I like the beauty content but this commentary format appears to be a better fit for you❤So beautiful!

Thank you! I will still do some beauty and reviews, but will be leaning more towards commentary based content since I have had more requests for more informational and trending topics. I actually have a dedicated playlist for the commentary content.

@cuethegirl7 ай бұрын
Actually I have done this with returning hair to the original color with wigs from this same company and similar texture. I don't think you will have a problem but keep in mind that sometimes it can be hit or miss. So far I have not had any issues with the hair reverting back to the original texture unless is was more of a curly texture where the curl was slightly relaxed after the bleach bath process.

I am done with false lashes too! Between the glue, adhesives and time that it takes to apply, I'm over it. I don't really need dramatic lashes anyway, I prefer a more natural look. I love that thumbnail too. I didn't know that Milani carried this, I have only seen their regular mascara but I will definitely check out Ulta. Excellent review on this and how it works.

That color is summer ready for sure. I like nice full hair. Thinking about trying this company. I think she gives honest reviews because she buys her own hair.

This perfect! I also love lashes but it takes too much of my time during the application. Sometimes they are crooked or they don't stick, the adhesive makes my eyes burn. I am over it too. Too much work with these strip lashes so I will absolutely be trying this and I love Milani cosmetics but I never noticed this mascara, thanks! Love the thumbnail too! Good review and explanation of the product....
