Wait, first battle? It's possible to rematch Akuto at a later time? Man, you're teaching me things about this game I wasn't even aware of, like how Oppos' team changes with each gym badge you have if you decide to backtrack to Aerous City to challenge him again.

Yeah, Akuto can be battled again after defeating the New Elders; he'll be located in the backroom of the Game Corner (didn't know this till recently). Oppos can be battled 5 times (he doesn't "feel like battling" a 6th time, even after defeating the Pokemon League).

@@WSM-Will I love when you still learn things about a game even after playing it dozens of times. I'll have to see that battle for myself in my spare time, I probably won't record it though. (I've been recording and uploading the secret temple/hidden grotto pokemon, but not the Oppos battles)

Compared to Normal mode, the main differences are that there is a level cap for major trainer battles, most major trainers' Pokémon are fully EV trained, and move sets are different for major trainer battles. Thanks man. There are other videos of others beating Dev Island if you search for them. I don't think difficulty actually affects the Dev Island battles, but the difficulty was set to Hard anyway.

The order of the battles shown in the video is the order they happen in the game. tbh i just got a regular charmamder and evolved it into a chaizard which kinda just dealt with Xavier. hardest was probably against the battle with taen under the jade tower for mega evolution. second hardest was actually with East lol

These battles were done in the challenge championship in the Battle Frontier, so the gym leaders/elite four members you can battle are randomised. As for the Delta Pokémon shown in the video: - Delta Sunflora: catch Delta Sunkern in the hidden grotto on Route 4, then use a fire stone to evolve it to Delta Sunflora. - Delta Volcarona: catch Delta Larvesta in the Perfection Laboratory (view the Pokemon Insurgence wiki for more info), then it will evolve to Delta Volcarona at level 59. There are videos on how to catch those Deltas, so you can search for those instead.
