Knights March theme and The Rock's soundtrack remind me of my people. I'm from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and my grandfather was a Peshmerga commander until he was martyred in 1986. My village is known for its martyrs. Even though they weren't the most skilled fighters, they compensated with courage and bravery. We have a saying: 'The tree of freedom thrives only when nourished by the blood of the brave.' If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be writing this comment.

For in my ignorant youth I knew not what Artur meant when he asked if I knew what it is to be sword sworn was.....he told me that the people who serve you-you in fact serve. Defend the helpless, protect the old, the young and the women. The blacksmith fashions defense and weapons, the common folk harvest the crops and the women bear all with fortitide and run the farms when the men are away. They serve you, but without you and your protection they would not be able to provide for you.

This is such a rambling generic theme. Hans Zimmer can be great but Jerry Goldsmith (First Knight), Daniel Pemberton (King Arthur Legend of the Sword) and Trevor Jones (Excalibur) handily kick this King Arthur score's proverbial posterior.

During the period 2007-2013 I visited parts of Belgium and France (from the Belgium border to the Swiss border) in a WW1 battlefield tour. This song brings me every time back to the rainy year of 2010 while we also visited the Somme. A better description of how it was in 1914-1918 couldn’t you have with rainy weather.
