It was great to see the safari tents as that is where I would love to stay. Haven’t been to the Kruger since 2014

Nice video, thank you. I have stayed at Mopani camp many times, as well as the Shipandane hide that it manages. The camp itself is nice. But I would consider the management of the camp, and especially the workers at the restaurant, to be the worst in the Kruger park.

Hartebeests, also known as kongonis are bovids that constitute the genus Alcelaphus, there are two hartebeest species alive today, which are the Northern Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus) and the Southern Hartebeest (Alcelaphus caama), the northern hartebeest has six recognized subspecies: the Jackson's Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus jacksoni), the Lelwel Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus lelwel), the Senegal Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus major), the Swayne's Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus swaynei), the Tora Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus tora), and the †Bubal Hartebeest (Alcelaphus buselaphus buselaphus), while the southern hartebeest has three recognized subspecies: the Coke's Hartebeest (Alcelaphus caama cokii), the Lichtenstein's Hartebeest (Alcelaphus caama lichtensteinii), and the Red Hartebeest (Alcelaphus caama caama).

That, my friends, is a chupacabra. Look at it wrong and it'll claw its way up your ass and eat your guts from the inside out.

We saw the Broken Hyena being chased by Blacked Backed Jacket this morning, we were driving when I heard call of jackle. Amazing sighting, they were on opposite hill. Could clearly see the. Distinctive brown colouring and smaller snout. Watched with binocs. Blown away.

Hello again from Canada:). I've done self drives in Botswana as well as Kruger and I am wondering whether or not a four wheel drive is necessary in the South African side of the Kgalagadi? I'll likely be entering from Namibia :)
@Alexandersenroute
@Alexandersenroute 9 ай бұрын
A 4-wheel drive is only necessary if you are staying at the Wilderness Camps, Bitterpan and Gharagab.
