I wanted so much to like Anthrax. I picked up Fistful of Metal when it first came out. In later years, their sound was always too muddled, and they were always too restrained. They seemed like they were afraid of being uncool if they were too metal, so they needed this ironic attitude.

i was really into hair metal back in middle school, Ratt, winger... and others and then i came across Rata Blanca. i grew out of the hair metal phase when i heard the 2007 headbangers ball album mix finding new bands to listen to. now i like the heavy shit. and now.. i come across this... metal never disappoints.

I think it's hilarious how they just mish mashed different cultures to make it seem like they know what they're doing lol. An Australian digiridoo, Mayan death whistle, Incan tribe dress/garbs, and Polynesian inspired tattoo makeup.
