@Alan-n2f 0 seconds ago Its a bit premature to give this new CVT accolades, If Honda buys NISSAN, maybe Nissan quality will improve, for now it compares to KIA. Pretty with no build quality. .BTW I have a 2017 Altima so I know better.

Good review, Mercedes is mailing it in and it shows up in their products, they've been doing this for awhile now and their dealer network is fucking trash. I'd like to consider a GLE or GLS for my wife but the reality is the dealer and low grade materials in the GLE have just totally turned me off.

Great review! Would you pick this over an X5 M60i? I read the upcoming (G65) 2026 X5 PHEV will have around 550 HP and possibly the new Idrive 10 interior that was introduced at CES a few days ago 🫰. Have you heard anything on this?

Great review. You mentioned that the 50e was riding on all season tires. Think that’s an error as those 21” wheels only come with summer performance tires. I wish they offered all-season on that size wheel.

The Passenger screen is a useless waste of money and to be honest why would the passenger want to use that thing when they can see their smart phone better 7 inches away from their face.
@On_the_brink_of_insanity2 күн бұрын
Only way this screen makes sense is so the front passenger can watch the cameras while you’re off-roading in order to help spot. In the normal trims, it doesn’t really make sense to me as much. It’s cool but kinda useless

Question why didn't u run it in sport plus instead of sport mode, I got a 2025 x1 m35i . I haven't had a chance to test bc I bought it we got a big snowstorm in Wv. But if u hold the boost paddle u get an extra 20 horsepower for 10 seconds!! And that person whoever said 4.6 seconds is slow ur crazy! And what do u drive, that's so fast , bc anything under 5.0 seconds to 60 mph is fast!! So this would out run a Elantra N, Honda civic type R and Acura Integra type S , Toyota gr Corolla the only thing faster is the golf R!! So bit it buddy! Whoever said a x1 or x2 m35i is slow 4.5 to 60mph

This is not a refresh but a whole new Forester. Completed different front & rear and slightly smaller windows. And the interior 40% upgrade. No different than my F150 it's not just a refresh but a new Gen. Yet still keeping it's pickup style and front side window design that is a F150 exclusive. Certain makes and models will always keep their brand dynamics that keeps its brand commitment. Their not Kia/ Hyundai which doesn't build brand loyalty and drastically changes their cars reason they have issues and 20 + recalls and lack brand loyalty. We are totally impressed with this new Forester we placed an order for the all new Hybrid. First time owner and I have had different trucks every 2 to 3 years and wife has held onto her own Ford Edge Titanium now 8 years. But has a nice company car every year to use. Now working Hybrid and promotion the company car goes away. We test drove the Kia Sportage and Mazda CX-50 she has had as company car the CRV, CX-5 and RAV4 all nicely equipped. And her choice was the Forester Hybrid as her own car. Placed a deposit as of two weeks ago and hoping to have vehicle by MAY this year. First Time owners and we get it why this brand has major loyalty and a cult like following. Even how the dealers treat you, is at entire different level of service. There is no other car in this segment and size with standard full time all wheel drive and tuned suspension for med-off road travel. Try driving around certain cities and townships with pot holes and rutted streets. My wife knew immediately that Forester would not give her city driving fatigue lol. Not the prettiest of the bunch but its Subaru has it's own culture and style that is timeless; she had a choice to go with a Lexus NX 350 and almost pulled the trigger. But the Forester spoke to her differently.

Appreciate the great insight; wife buying her first Subaru 2025 Forester waiting on the Hybrid and placed a deposit. You do a good job; a critique; lose the “what-not” a good speaker will simply pause and say nothing and continue their speech. I personally enjoyed test driving the Outback XT turbo. But wife loved the Forester although she was hesitant due to power. Funny you mentioned the Nautilus wife test drove a used 12k mile 2022 Lincoln Nautilus it’s the car closes to her current 2017 Ford Edge Titanium which is pretty quick with the Ecoboost. Hopefully we’ll see the 2025 Forester Hybrid in May 2025?

Your too kind on the lack of headroom in the rear. Essentially someone 6’2” would not physically fit. It’s impossible to slouch or slide down in the seat, your sort of locked in and it’s extremely uncomfortable. Big fail for a mid size sedan.

I had a leaf for a couple of years, I put around 50,000 miles on it. Never had any problems at all, it was great. However the dealer called and said we’ve got an Ariya in stock so I gave it a drive. Now I’ve got nearly 17,000 miles on it and it is so much better than the leaf. Only problem is that the ride is rough. The suspension is pretty stiff. Oh yes the first set of tires only lasted about 10,000 miles, but I’ve toned down my driving so the 2nd set should last a lot longer! In the summer its mileage is around 350 miles, winter mileage is around 250.
