I found my entomology class in college (the early 1970s) to be very interesting, but my problem was that I have no artistic ability at all. I couldn't draw them to save my butt, and my entomology professor told me I couldn't be an entomologist if I couldn't draw what I was looking at through a microscope. Even now I still draw people as stick men and sick women; that is the farthest extent of my artistic ability. I just don't have the eye/hand coordination to draw. I've also always had problems with catching thrown items, hitting a baseball, or throwing balls so they could be caught or making a basket with a basketball. If it wasn't for wrestling, I wouldn't have played any sports in high school. Luckily a person doesn't have to see to wrestle.

This is so educative am A tour guide based in Livingstone Zambia and today 7/05/24 I was actually doing a falls tour with 14 guests from Russia ans its amazing to hear what the world thinks ans feels about the Mosi o tunya and I must say such an excellent work from joe and just a gist yes we have fish and other invertebrates on the edge of the falls such that when doing the devils pool you will get a bit of biting from fish as you swim and it’s amazing

This is the first time I have noticed with great sadness a hummingbird would visit my feeder and then disappear. I have been feeding hummingbirds for decades and never seen anything like this.

After 100degrees in the gulf last year we are going to see a terrible rest of this decade. That should have sent shock waves across the world. And yet it didn't. It's all just so sad bc I worry we may push the planet beyond repair. It's one thing if we cause our own extinction but to damage the atmosphere and oceans so badly that the earth dies a slow irreversible death is an incredibly tragic possibility I think... Sadly so. Thanks for the info!

Hello Rosa, at Bee Natural Farm, we specialize in commercial beekeeping using a migratory method in India. While we keep Apis Mellifera Italian Bees in wooden beehive boxes for honey harvesting, we often receive calls from humans challenge with Apis Dorsata, the Giant bees, build their hive in urban highrise society. This situations often result in the use of harmful chemicals by pest control departments, leading to bee fatalities. We aim to rescue these bees but require a better understanding of their behavior, as they differ from other species. Seeking insights and research to design effective rescue operations. Your assistance and any shared information would be appreciated.

Three years ago there were 25,000 white rhinos. Something is not working. Why are the Sumatran rhinos decreasing? Have they all not been grouped? They should be on one large overly protected reserve. Get the squatters out of Way Kambas. This is very dire. Don't sugar coat it.
@springy_vibin29132 ай бұрын
I understand what you’re saying, however it is quite difficult to track down Sumatran rhinos down and capture them since they’re in dense forests. But i suppose to can try luring them into an optimal location for capturing such as a clearing or an open grassy area, then relocate them afterwards. It is always best to have a bright mindset and try to support them as much as we can.

@@springy_vibin2913 We all have a passion for rhinos, but we are losing the fight, sadly.

This is fabulous!! I'm new to Exploring By The Seat Of Your Pants. This is the first time on this channel. Previously, I had never heard of Wildhope or their contributions to conservation of the planet. A special shout out to all rescue and conservation people and groups. I love that KZbin is hosting educative content as I am a devout believer that there is no such thing as too much education. Since so many state politicians across the whole country have been pointedly engaged in the destruction of our educative system, people can continue to educate themselves with online learning of all kinds and circumvent these deleterious efforts. Robespierre once said, "The secret of freedom lies in educating people. Whereas, the secret of tyranny lies in keeping them ignorant." A shout out to all educative groups. And one other shout out goes to the Billion Oyester Project. As an ex-New Yorker, I'm thrilled to find out there is an actual solution for the filthy mess that was New York harbor. There aren't enough compliments to cover the good this project is doing not only for the ecology of the harbor but for all the children and adults who are going to have jobs in support of conservation. One billion kudos. 😊
