Thank you for sharing a peek into this dimension of His revelation. There is a hunger to explore whatever He has revealed in all forms, the musical level might be one of the more powerful given the straight to the core manner of comm. There will be a song that only the Redeemed can sing, what a special experience that will be.

I iuſt learned of this woꝛk to day. I was ſaued by Ieſus in 2016. I can ſay this whole thing is definitely a ſcam. I came out of the new age when I got ſaued, ſo I can recognize the hand wauing of magicke to deceiue people. This hath that. Where is the pꝛoof oꝛ reaſoning that theſe ſcales were vſed and that theſe ſymbols indicate theſe ſpecific pitches ?Pſalmodia, Pꝛoſodia, where art thou euen getting theſe things from, what hath that to do with anything, oꝛ the ſymbols wꝛitten in the Maſoretic text ? Where is any notion of iuſt oꝛ diuiſiue tuning as oppoſſed to Pythagoꝛean? I haue liſtened to a few pꝛeſentations on this ſubiect now, and no one toucheth theſe topics with a tenne foot pole. And euen the ſcales in this pꝛeſentation are different than the one in the other pꝛeſentations I watched. The other pꝛeſentations I watched had a Phꝛygian #3 ſcale, now here in this video, thou haſt a regular diatonic Phꝛygian and a harmonic minoꝛ ſcale. The woꝛſt part about this is reading the comments vnder theſe videos where euery one is iuſt eating all this vp as fact, though no euidence is pꝛeſented, iuſt baſeleſſe aſſertions. The Goſpel that ſaueth and how to be ſaued accoꝛding to the woꝛd of God : "1 MOꝛeouer bꝛethꝛen , I declare vnto you the Goſpel which I pꝛeached vnto you, which alſo you haue receiued, and wherein yee ſtand. 2 By which also yee are ſaued , if yee keepe in memoꝛie what I pꝛeached vnto you , vnleſſe yee haue beleeued in vaine. 3 Foꝛ I deliuered vnto you firſt of all , that which I alſo receiued , how that Chꝛiſt died for our ſinnes accoꝛding to the Scriptures : 4 And that he was buried, and that he roſe againe the third day accoꝛding to the Scriptures." - 1 Coꝛinthians 15:1-4 Holy Bible 1611 "9 That if thou ſhalt confeſſe with thy mouth the Loꝛd Ieſus , and ſhalt beleeue in thine heart , that God hath raiſed him from the dead , thou ſhalt be ſaued. 10 Foꝛ with the heart man beleeueth vnto righteouſneſſe,and with the mouth confeſſion is made vnto ſaluation. 11 Foꝛ the Scripture ſaith, Whoſoeuer beleeueth on him , ſhall not bee aſhamed. 12 Foꝛ there is no difference betweene the Iew and the Greeke : foꝛ the ſame Loꝛd ouer all, is rich vnto all, that call vpon him. 13 Foꝛ whoſoeuer ſhall call vpon the Name of the Loꝛd,ſhall be ſaued." - Romanes 10:9-13 Holy Bible 1611

Hey John! Thank you for this incredible presentation. This is all new to me, so I am trying to do my best to understand. My first question would be, what was the process of translating this into European style notation? Is it possible that European influence played a part in interpreting notation and perhaps skewed the original musical intent in favor of our modern system? Again, I want to clarify that I know nothing about this and am asking with a sincerely humble heart. This is coming from curiosity, not skepticism or accusation. I also recognize that much of this I'm sure is explained in great detail in Suzanne's works. I just have not been able to get a book yet. Excited to learn more about this, and would love more videos. Blessings!

Good, honest questions! First, the video originally came from here: www.youtube.com/@themusicofthebiblerevealed1618 Europeans did not invent either the diatonic scale or hierarchical tonality. We see both in ancient Egypt, for example (although Egypt apparently preferred the pentatonic scale, but again with a view to hierarchical tonality). We KNOW that the accents form a very rigid hierarchy, which implies tonal music (i.e., music "we" would understand) one way or another. As for the rest, the Hebrew verbal syntax was the "virtual bilingual" by which the syntax of the accents was deciphered. The process is detailed more in SHV's English book, which should be on Google Books or at Internet Archive or both.

Here is how the Egyptian pentatonic scale went (based on cheironomy, pentatonic, and yet with a hierarchy revolving around the 1st and 5th, and used to produce both melody and harmony): kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5Dai4Vji5yNrqs

Because Suzanne Haïk-Vantoura’s conclusions are probably wrong. It’s more than likely that she misinterpreted melodic fragments in the text for scale tones. She decided that the Phrygian Dominant scale was the “biblical scale”. I highly doubt it. Although this scale has its roots in the Middle East and Spain, and it’s the scale used in Hava Nagila, it’s a western 7-note tonal scale. Ancient middle eastern singing used a lot of microtonal intervals, which this scale has none. Many music historians rejected her findings for several reasons, most of all that she misunderstood what the marking meant, and she didn’t take into account ancient Babylonian and Palestinian music systems.
