Hi, i am 14 and I am going to apply to ucBerkeley, to business administration major. Can doing extracurricular activities, relating to your major increase possibility to be applied, or it doesn’t matter ?

Yes this helps! But I think admissions is also looking for people with a curious mind, who are open to learning and trying out new things. So I wouldn’t recommend doing extracurriculars of just one subject, like business. Having a diverse set of interests that you’re genuinely passionate about helps a lot!

my high school didn’t do GPA, but my average was around a 95%. but remember grades aren’t everything, they just want to see an upward trend.

Hellloo, I really enojoyed the video.. espicially when I am trying to major in Finance/Business. I was wondering what program are you taking within Hass School of Business? Because I have put my eyes on the Spieker program but I am reluctant.. it would be so helpful to me if I knew what others are studying at UCB as, because I want to pursue a Finance career. :D Note: I am an international student and currently applying to schools in the U.S

Hey 👋 . Thanks for your comment <3! So I am currently doing the 2-year Spieker program, I applied to Haas when I was a sophomore and got in as a junior (this semester). Haas is now making the Spieker program a 4-year program, which is the one you would likely apply to as an incoming student. I would totally encourage you to apply to the program ⭐️. As an international student myself I personally love Haas, it's resources, and the people. Haas will definitely give you the resources to go into a career in finance; I have a lot of friends going into internships in banking and accounting. What exactly do you want to go into?
