They have different brand options, some are expensive but there are also affordable ones. You can check the prices of the art supply/item you want and compare it to other art supplies stores out there and online :)

How do we get a booklet to get stamped? Also we want to go to the amasake tea house after all you mentioned, is that possible on one day plus possible hot spring too? What time is best to leave Tokyo? Thanks again so much. This is perfect and honestly took a lot of anxiety off for me. We are going June 2024

Hi there, thank you for watching my video. For the booklet, I just bought a simple blank notebook from a stationary shop. If you are doing a day trip, it best to take the earliest train sched to Hakone. I recommend staying a night in Hakone so you can do the hot spring and the Amasake Tea House :)

@@rdb_intothewild may I also check the waiting time at each station? I'm going to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route on 23 April (Tues) I will be taking 6am shinkansen from Tokyo to nagano to catch the 815am bus from nagano to ogizawa, arriving at 10am. This is the earliest bus from nagano. I have just booked the alpine route ticket from ogizawa to Toyama 1030am. I wonder the waiting time at each station is it very long? I saw some station only has one bus/cable car in every 20 mins. Afraid if too many ppl I might need to wait for hours for the next bus/cable car then I might missed the last bus departing murodo.

@@davidlim6509 In our experience last year, the waiting time is not that long. There are station that you will not really need to wait, there are station that you will only need to wait for 3mins and longest waiting is 10mins. I guess it will depend on the number of tourists/visitors.

Thank you so much for the video! We are planning on traveling the Alpine route at the end of May 2024 starting from Ogizawa to Tateyama. Looking at the current schedule which is posted for November, it has the last train leaving Murodo to Bijodaira at 3:30 pm. Do you know if there are later departure times in May? Also, what time do suggest leaving Ogizawa to avoid long lines? I'm really concerned that with the long lines at each station we may miss the last bus leaving from Murodo.
