Very good ending for a very good movie. The pallbearers are trying to plan who THEY decide to run for President. We the people don't get to choose. The wealthy industrialists and the powerful maintain those choices! What an irony after Biden's debate last night these powerful men will decide if Biden is up to 4 more years. Consider the alternative.!?

I know everyone is very impressed with this interview and I share that feeling as well but string theory is a dead end. They've been working on it for decades with nothing to really show for it other than taking the best minds away from more promising research. I expect in the future its going to be looked upon as the greatest 'folly' in physics history.

It doesn't explain gravity at all, not as Einstein understood it. They added some nonsense gravity particle called the graviton. And why? Simply because a renormalizable massless spin-2 field resulted from the quantization of a string. That is literally just math. That does not mean the theory has anything to do with gravity as we know it from Einstein. I mean for the love of god, the theory doesn't even respect the amount of spatial dimensions we have. It originally needed 26 dimensions because it needed the extra degrees of freedom. Even just ONE additional dimension gives you endless new parameters to arbitrarily play around with until whatever theoretical trouble you're in disappears .

This is the best scene in anime history, the themes and composition the way it makes you feel both about mugen and yourself as a mortal. The song name is Obokuri and has 2 parts, there have been times that depression hits hard and all sense blurs, I listen to this song and makes me thing about everything I’ve been through and that I still have things to do in this world, I don’t know the meaning of the lyrics but I’m just thankful to Watanabe the guy probably saved my life more than once with this scene.

Its quite impressive how this Scene Shows so much without much Dialog only music and Visuals Its really that 90s feel which cant be replicated And i Miss that. Another Manga which perfectly embodies telling a Story without many words is Vagabond and i think it is storytelling at its finest

It's a great movie anyway and very enjoyable. But then you get to the very end and you're hit with this scene and suddenly the movie goes from being enjoyable to being significant. Suddenly you realize that you're dealing with one of the great ones and you have to go back to the beginning and watch it again with this insight in mind.

His body is disgusting. Pulled from the depths. I don’t think she did it for him. That’s the point. She took him away from his destiny. Not for him for herself. His destiny wasn’t for her, it was not yet for him. His soul is not for her, it’s for him to decide.

The film is fantastic. It's satire, not just of WASP politics, but of all of us. We seek meaning in soundbites, we mistake appearance for substance, form for function. At the end, Chance walks on water and we have no idea how. Does he have divine power? Or is there some submerged pier or flooded dock? He tests the depth in a single place, but never walks there to settle this for us. What if the crowd at the funeral had seen him on the lake? Would Chauncy Gardner be mistaken for not just an aristocratic political genius, but a reincarnation of Christ himself? We see what we expect to see; what something is depends on what we think it is. Everything is, at its root, a state of mind, including life itself.

I feel like everyone trying to explain the character walking on water dismiss all of the symbolism leading up to it. The all seeing eye at the top of the pyramid the fact they just admitted he was their only chance to keep whoever the president is in their control. Guy was literally just made the Ark of the Beast system . Life is a state of mind.
