Played SC for the first time last night. We had 4 players. It was chaotic but I like that it teaches you how to stay focused in your plans despite the chaos. I don't like that it is dependent on the honor system. There are no checks and balanced.

I bring the game TIME Stories to different groups since I’ve already gone through the storyline, and I act as the game master. We play without restarting the entire game but still read the failure cards. I’m not sure how it works with expansions, but with the base game, it’s the perfect solution, making this game simply the best gaming experience (especially for newcomers to the world of board games)

Curious, why do you have the Intrigue expansion without the original Intrigue set (unless you just REALLY like a lot of the expansion cards). Now if you ever do purchase Intrigue, you'll be duplicating a lot of cards, unless you can somehow find a first edition Intrigue box.
