Ahhhh, getting some heavy duty nostalgia now. This game along with Rainbow 6 and Grand Prix Legends were my first introduction to "modern" 3D simulations. Hard to believe it's 25 years now.

There is a fan made mod that has modern resolutions and updated skins. I couldn’t get it to run well on my laptop though. You can find it with a good google search

I went from _Aces of the Pacific_ and _Aces over Europe_ to this game. I was an ace on the Aces games 😎. In this game, I was always the first one shot down ☠️.

How are you getting this to run? I have Windows 10 and tried my Discs, but it won’t launch. Tried the ModDB download too, but it crashes when I go to fly.

I have the disc on Windows 10. It's running in compatibility mode for Windows Vista with these settings in properties: Reduced color mode (8-bit (256) color) Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution Disable fullscreen optimizations Run this program as administrator Hope that helps. I tried the mod and it worked but there was no sound for some reason.

Nope, it runs at a very low resolution like how it looks in the video. There is fan-made version that's modern resolution but I couldn't get it to work on my PC

this was MY game back in the day. my grandpa would tell me all about the planes. he enjoyed that, but, he reall loved the music most of all. hes gone now..but damn i wanna play this again

Loved the missions you did for this game, I miss this game so much, do you mind me asking if you'll do the axis missions next? I loved flying the Focke Wulf in this game

Yessir that is the plan, Im not sure if I'll have enough in me to do it a second time for the alternate ending so Ill try to edit the game files to make it think I went through it again. You are very welcome!

When recording, I somehow missed the first Allies mission and its video, but I have just started the Axis missions and got it right this time. I'll redo the first Allies mission for ya, but it'll be after the rest. Hope you enjoy.

VR4nic I think someone posted a version of the clean rip from game files. I kinda like the snoring because it brings me back to being in there with the captain. I really enjoyed that moment
