man, this puts all the live videos i have watched of this song through the years to shame! the little parts you have changed from the studio recording sound great. this video also helps me with learning the weird rythms during solo 2 on drums! thanks for posting!

Thanks man! Yeah I re-arranged a bunch of stuff throughout the shows we played together, kinda just wanted the song feel a little more "mine" sort to speak. Also wanted to incorporate the waltz rhythm a bit more deeply in the blast beats. :)

I was wondering if you pick this gem from your treasure chest now that the album has been out. Playing songs you love in your own way is just one of those things. It's one thing if you are playing a gig with the original band but covers are not supposed to be robotic copies but an homage and this is excellent! Watched your old sybreed cover of Revive my wounds again a few days ago and had to go straight to the kit and play myself, thank you for the inspiration!

Hey Heikki. Just curious on how you played the Hi-Hat pattern at 5:49 on the right Hat with you playing the kick with your right foot? Are you some how opening the Hi-Hat or just simply playing the top of the cymbal to get a less 'sloshy' sound if that makes sense? :D

Hey man, yeah sorry I missed your comment! And yes, it's just opening / closing the hats with my left foot. I have two cable hihats on the kit. I control the right hihat with my left foot, left hihat on the right. :)

Sloppy kicks, are you serious? I didn't know anything about you or Finntroll before, untill last wednesday in Eindhoven, NL, where I joined a friend to this concert. No sloppy anything, on the contrary I was amazed at the almost supernatural tightness, speed and control. You stole the whole show!
