the best thing about this scene is that is kinda accurate. most of the most popular songs from since late 70's had their instrumentals composed by like 5~6 composers, i doesnt mean these musicians work were all made by them, is just a couple of ones, most became their biggest hits, and most of these composers are based in california. the lyricists vary more tho

First off, this clip is awesome. Hilarious. Love it. Have to watch whatever movie it is from. Second, TPTB never hit me so hard as the day after I said I was going to get into music. Which is weird because all of my Mom's family was in music. I should've been bloodline approved, but I guess not.

Don’t forget the real kid (who is now in his 40’s) named Donald Marshall who was cloned and was enslaved in a cloning Center and at age 9 .. he spontaneously started writing songs that were then used and made famous by celeb musicians. He did this constantly so as to avoid being tortured/abused. He never received credit for any of his tunes. Donald has been interviewed on yt channel St Olga, and has a website. His memory was returned when he turned 30, if I remember correctly. But his consciousness continued to be abducted on occasion to this day.

Fascinating movie. The world-building was perfectly executed and the ode to the classic Hollywood films were ever present and tastefully done. I also appreciated the social commentary. I felt like it was the ultimate millennial movie. The narrator almost gives incel vibes, but we do see him sleeping with other women, while aimless, with no job and just plain bored, almost in a state of arrested development. It's what a lot of men are going through in today's society unfortunately. Then I guess the writers used the secret society/music industry angle sending secret messages to society for the plot, which has been done before, but still definitely kept me intrigued. Overall, a thoughtfully crafted film. Shame I didn't watch it when this when it first came out. Andrew Garfield has been on a run lately. Hacksaw Ridge, Silence, and 99 Homes are some other terrific films he's starred in. Still have yet to watch Tick Tick Boom.
