Do we not need to increase the desired air quantity maps to compensate?

It is not necessary, because a closed EGR valve commanded by hysteresis maps override the air quantity targets from EGR management in the presented ecu. Nevertheless you can do it if you'd like to see actual desired values in the diagnosis or if you face throttle closure in the newer ECUs with more complex EGR functions.

My Solutions work a little bit different than AI Solutions. Your modifications in this tab, will not work for the whole ECU Family, but only for the same ECU calibration (eg. same BMW model in the same power variant).

Solution are Free just for simos 19.6 until the end of december, 5 free solution per day, but you need to be Master with valid subs and with subs Stage X plus

Every car is different, so the best practice is to identify fault codes by using the proper Diagnostic Tool.

@@krasimirpetrov334 You have to delete all the DTCs related to the EGR system if you want to disable it's functions completely. In most cases, all related DTCs are in the range from 0400 to 040A, but to be certain you should check for EGR fault codes via Diagnostic Tool.
