Ethan is always fighting straw men, he's a useless debater, even airhead Doug TenNapel beat him at least twice in debates. The last one Ethan literally quit and ran, while Doug was jeering at him with chicken sounds, like this: "buck-buckaak". I think that was their last direct encounter. Anyway that's why Ethan always fights a strawman, and even then, half the time he manages to somehow lose to the strawman. He's just useless at debate, I guess because he lives in a bubble of sycophantry. You really humiliated him that time you were on his show and gave him some gentle pushback, which sent him reeling. You can actually do permanent unlocks that stay with your character with each playthrough, it took me like 10 tries of accruing permanent unlocks before my character was powerful enough to go all the way to the end

1:25:00 The best Batman out of the pool of people that didn't get the role would have been either Steven Seagal before he tanked his reputation in interviews, or Johnny Depp for the look, but probably the best pick would have been Viggo Mortenson as an older Batman.
