Iv made the journey from Ayrshire several times over the years now I’d highly recommend it. A word of warning tho I’d probably try and go in poor weather and not on holiday weekends etc as it can get very busy 👍🏻

I have never had a problem here at Newcastle Station , but there are gates and sometimes open , if closed just let them know what you are doing and all should be fine 🙂

The video was filmed before the signs , The x1500 as a 600mm zoom unless you was on the other platform with the signs are a little far back I think ?

I heard that later but they should have been security there to deter would be arsonists. I went there a few days later and nobody was around to tell me to leave and I was inside the fencing that was placed as security, luckily for them I'm not an arsonist and was there just to take photos.
