ye I understand you, I mean when I play city skylines I use wind power since it's still kinda relevant there even after a long period, but in industrialist it's a lot weaker, that's why i used steam which works in the same concept but is actually "wind" you generate yourself

I understand that the ads were annoying sometimes but try to put yourself in the shoes of a new game developer that wants or has made a good game in Roblox, how will you get your game known? How will it gain players? KZbin isn't reliable advertisement and discord is expensive advertisement (that isn't reliable too).. Both are also too expensive to be worth it compared to what Roblox was.

@@decayingpink just for comparison though, an ad would get 100k impressions (views) and that would usually barely be enough, somtimes your ad hits though. if you advertise yourself MANUALLY you'll get way less impressions of whatever (100k is an insane number), the chat will also be less noticeable and you'll have to stay chronically online, advertising for hours per day for a week to get an amount of players (5). usually people don't have enough time for that, i know what i've said here from experience since i had to sponsor my escape room project manually.. and even me who barely sleeps couldn't get much attention, i even got more backlash than attention and people were annoyed at me, which makes sense since most games were never intended for advertisement. there are some games that are intended for advertisement to support small devs, but those games have low player counts and will get you almost no exposure too. in conclusion: it will be impossible for you to actually get the engine running doing the advertisement yourself via roblox games, you might get a player or two which will play for like 30 mins but that's about it.
