As an alumnus of Lyndhurst Elementary, it's nice to see some good news about my old school. I attended Lyndhurst from 1955 to 1962 and still recognize the hallways and auditorium shown in segments of this video. Also still remember all the plays I was in on the stage shown near the end. I'm sure our principal from back then, Helen Dewling, would be proud of the accomplishments of Lyndhurst's current principal, Dr. Sherelle Lowe, along with her students. I didn't like school that much as a child, but now in my 60s I look back with fondness on my elementary school years. I still have a school year booklet with most of my teachers and school staff photos from 1957 to help keep those memories alive. Used to have a Lyndhurst beanie hat, too, but somehow misplaced it when I was younger. :( I hope the academic accomplishments of the students continue to improve to help them lay a solid foundation for their future education after they graduate from Lyndhurst. I loved growing up in west Baltimore in the 50s and 60s, and miss my old home since employment relocation took my family and I to another part of MD back in 1979
