Yes, this was shot in New Delhi, including the subway/metro. They sing in English and Hindi. What's unique about Bloodywood is that they incorporate traditional Indian musical instruments in their numbers; this one has harmonium (the guy sitting with keyed instrument in the subway) and of course Dhol (the Indian drum you play standing up). You must get to their live concert; insane energy.

You want heavy? This is heavy!!! This song, Dana Dan, and Gaddar are my favorites by Bloodywood. Saw them in concert last year. 100% deserved the banger shades.

The reason the vocalist left the band is not the reason you guys think. They addressed that and made their stance, and then later (after their vocalist left and came back and then left again) they gave an interview stating that that was not their reason for tillian leaving, it was just different creative goals. Also to the people saying the gobbler is tillian, it is not. I’m pretty sure they recorded this WITH tillian and they are seemingly chill.

I am truly baffled as to why I prevail agreed to this collab. Never heard of the other band, and this will probably be th3 last time I listen to them tbh.

It's important to know that kanami listened to and played nothing but Chopin until she was 13. Classical music at its best (and he's the GOAT with piano) does genre blends, transitions, variations on themes without fear. Likewise chamber music (string quartets etc) nails layering. So now she has so much of the musical canon at her fingertips there is nothing she can't do. "As soon as I get up I practice (guitar exercises) for half an hour, then during the day three hours guitar and (crucially) three hours composition." That's ninja master levels of theory and practice. This is the Japanese approach, genius plus tens of thousands of hours work ethic and respect for the past masters. Total opposite of the rock and roll myth of picking up a guitar, jamming until you find a riff and instantly producing a work of genius. Bandmaid's first dozen or more songs were chosen by them from a selection composed by others, but these others were at the top of their game and kanami was happy to learn and compose a ton of songs that didn't make the cut, suck it up until her work was as good or better than the industry could produce. Of course songwriters and producers loved to work with them because they could play just about anything put before them so it was like working with the Kamiband who are top notch session musicians.

Jim bob is a veteran addicted to pain pills and alcohol. People around him want him to get help but he can't figure out his demons. A very broad issue after vets come home. Yall are dumb fuckss for not reading and getting a lyric. What a missed opportunity. This is why your channel has shit for views

I also just recently discovered The Pretty Wild a week ago? 2 weeks ago? Their 2 sisters that used to do country music. They made the switch to metal because "Country didn't fit their energy." Their words.

She has her own identity. She's singing the same way she has for 20 years with Dead Sara. It's you projecting what you think she's doing, go watch some of the live performances they've been releasing. She's her own person and she's commanding the stage.

Have to disagree with you a little. I don't think Emily is trying to emulate Chester and even Mike spoke to this. She's just being Emily. She even talks about how she and Colin had to go through the entire LP catalog and break down the songs so they were performing as themselves and not as fans. She decided to learn how to sing because of Chester and she's been singing like that for 20 years. Now were there a few off spots in the original livestream? Sure but we know now a lot of that was nerves and emotion and I still think she killed it especially considering the amount of pressure she was under.

Great reaction and this now song is just leveling up their talent. Not problem with conversations during a song, but you should probably pause the video when you do. Most people that view reaction videos understand that good reactors will sometimes pause to comment on a particular section. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid - you're helping spread the word about this extremely talented band.
@throwaway938913 күн бұрын
Yep, spot on, they combine genres and still make music that's an organic whole and new. You might want to try some of their songs that don't have videos, on Epic Narratives and older albums. Clang, Fate, and Spirit for example are all great freeway jams. And talk all you want, just pause and rewind a tad. Cheers.

The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. But I already love Forbidden Tale, and especially The One. 😉🤘 btw - We should all wish a "Good Luck" to Band-Maid's new self-run management company: Maidit, Co., LTD! Will they managing other bands, boost Cluppo and Maiko projects, or tour more internationally? Or maybe they will expand their business interest to other sectors of the music biz outside of Band-Maid. I believe Kanami wants to get more into composing, scoring and production. And as for Miku and Saiki, the sky's the limit for what they'll want to do in merch, fashion and art, etc.. Thx, M-Pits!
