Vibing vegan you are so cute 😘 if your interested we should connect, I don't have a single tattoo on me and I just purchased a wormhole tattoo machine for $30 with plenty of ink and plenty of single line needles, I draw quite a bit so I plan on making small fun tattoos, I never did want to spend so much money on someone giving me a tattoo, this is the best option for me

This is a really great video on exactly how to not do a stick and poke tattoo and how it turns out when you do everything wrong. Really a good lesson for all those getting into it. I’m grateful this video has been posted showing the honest and result! 🌱

12:10 your biggest mistake was going way to fast and not dipping your needle in the ink enough you should have dipped it after every 2-4 pokes as well as every time you dip it you start the next poke where you last poked before dipping again that way you get full solid lines instead of going over it so many times if you keep the needle full of ink and you start each poke in the already poked spot and move forward three pokes then dip and start in the last poke spot and do three pokes and you do that the hole tattoo you will most likely only have to go over it one more time or even not have to go over it again at all but it all depends on the amount of pokes per dip in the ink sometimes I will do two pokes then dip teo pokes then dip and thats how I can do a stick and poke with one pass and even after it heals it is solid lines all the way ive only got a couple that need touch ups but they were my first ones ever and there still pretty good for a first timer

Good god people get over the gloves crap you only need to wear gloves if your tattooing another person as long as you sterilize everything your fine I've done almost my entire leg without wearing gloves and never had one problem besides gloves get dirty to so it really makes no difference as long as you sterilize everything and you don't burn the needles before you use them you pour rubbing alcohol on them so you don't weaken the integrity of the needle causing them to break off in your skin as long as you use 91 rubbing alcohol on everything then you will be just fine it's not the end of the world without gloves the most it will do is stain your hands if you drop ink on them

So I've done 36 small tattoos on myself so far and I have found if you do straight up and down pokes and not 45° angles you get way better results you might have to poke more to not miss any spots but I can do a solid complete outline in two passes and when I do 45° angles it takes me three to five passes to get a solid complete line I'm still practicing my line work I haven't gotten to shading yet with the stick and poke but I've gone from it taking me multiple hours and up to five passes to finish a tattoo to now I can finish a outline in less then an hour with only two passes

girl you´re doing a lot of things wrong. First, wear some gloves. Second, don´t touch "sterile" things without gloves. The hygiene practice here is horrible. Also taping the needle to a pencil or something similar makes holding and poking a lot easier. You should also wipe the excess ink off so you can see how much ink stayed in the skin. Like you said, the angle was not helpful for the skin either. I suggest practicing on silicone skin before tattooing yourself again so you get a proper feel and technique. For anyone reading this, do proper research because this video is not in any way educational, except if you want to know what not to do.

what kind of RL needle you use? When i poke deeper or less deep it always runs. 2pokes and i can not see the line anymore, when i look at your poking, when you poke i only see little thicker line and you cant finish the letter with little run!! I dont get it is have tryd everything also with vaseline!! Helppppp Greets a dutchie
@vibingvegan2 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! I use a really thin needle - 3RL. Are you using a thicker one? It could also be your skin type, because not everyone’s is the same. Or maybe it’s the ink? I’m sorry I can’t be more help! Good luck.
@AwoooOga35032 жыл бұрын
I'm think it's pretty different doing on someone else than yourself the first time. If you do on yourself you get the feel how deep you should go. On someone else it's hard to figure that out, so I think doing on fake skin is the best way to practice, *If* you are gonna do it on someone. And if you are gonna do on real skin, you got to be really sure and confident on the stuff you use and what to do. I think it's really important to know about the consequences as well.
@vibingvegan2 жыл бұрын
For sure!
@AwoooOga35032 жыл бұрын
I trust doing small stick and poke on myself. And I know I'm not professional, but I don't promote or say people should do this. If they do I then it's not my problem. It's pretty much to them being responsible if something happens. And I got a few. But I did the mistake to do it on my arm, it's was an uncomfortable angle so I'm regretting that big thing I did 😂😂😂 I still think it's a bad idea if you got no idea what you're doing. But I'm just scrolling
@vibingvegan2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I agree, it’s definitely better to do it on yourself first before on someone else. We had done many on ourselves before doing it on each other.

If you poke and lift the skin a tad at a 45° angle or so, it’ll put in the ink a lot better and you’ll only need two or three passes instead of 10.
@vibingvegan2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I always make sure to poke at a 45 degree angle, sometimes it doesn’t always happen.
